WGMG: for the first time in about 1.5 years our pet cat got randomly sick last night. Just a few vomits around the house. But afterwards she ate, and we saw no traces of her being sick while we were asleep. Plus she was her usual spritely self this morning.

One day when I become a parent to a human, I can just tell the moment he/she sneezes I won't rest properly until I know he/she is better. Having other people in my life sick, and me being pretty much unable to help them, is seriously one of the things I hate most in life.

The first set of numbers is the 'goals' and the second is the scores over the crossbar. Over the crossbar is worth 1, goals are worth 3. So they're leading 17 to 8. Teams can get very physical bumping in some games with really wet conditions in lieu of being able to tackle.

Yeah to keep it simple, if the draw is listed as an outcome, you're betting on the result after 90 minutes. You can bet on the team to go through, but obviously the odds are less since the draw isn't an option

WGMG: Put $10 on a live treble during the Argentina v Belgium game, for Argentina to win, under 30 point card index (yellows are worth 10) and for there to be under 11 corners. I thought I'd won $130 yesterday, but turns out I must have missed a yellow card when I went to the toilet in the second half of the game :(

Hope you learnt your lesson; don't go to the toilet till the game is over :p

They say if you have 10 people or more you need to go through Group Bookings. You do that, it takes 5 days to get a response that ends up more expensive than booking it just through the website. You try and book it just through the website and every added extra, every deal (extra baggage, carbon offsets, etc etc), is automatically clicked on yes and it's up to you to navigate to turn them all off. And when you go to pay, you pay through the arse if you don't sort it through internet banking. But, because it's a group of more than 10, that amount exceeds my daily limit.

I just want to be a non-green-conscious consumer, but they're making it so hard for me to do so!

When we fly there's me, my wife and my 3 ring circus children. Jetstar automatically charge you $5 per ticket to assign you seats together otherwise they'll assign your seats randomly on the day.

I always untick it.

If they want to take the risk of having 3, barely literate, monkeys running around their plane then good luck to them.

I've heard people complain about them for years but I've never had an issue. But in saying that, I've never sorted flights for more than 2 people before. This is such a bigger ordeal than I originally expected! It's $6 per ticket to choose seats nowadays (or was for me when I tried).

The other thing that ground my gears was since I attempted to go through Group Bookings last week, until now, the price for one of the flights has gone up $10 per person! If I just sorted it last week like I wanted to, it wouldn't have happened!

There was, although it might have changed, a $17 surcharge to use your Visa card. And that was for each ticket.

Yep, they attempted that with me. Hence why I've gone the internet banking route, and hence why I have an afternoon at the banks sorting my daily limit shit out.

I've had amazing service from Jetstar before. My travel agent booked my flight to rAdelaide a month late, and I didn't realise until I tried to check in. The woman at the help desk waived $180 worth of fees to book new flights when I told her what had happened.

When you bet on the TAB machines it's in barely legible yellow writing.

I felt similar about them until this little escapade. Maybe it is only an issue if you're booking for more than 2 people.

Yep. I played in midfield in the first half. Missed a sitter, but then got the assist for our first. Played the second half between the sticks and we drew 2-2. Still in shock about it.
