Its actively turning people away from the forum Sorry mate but theres actual life after a US election. The people that give a shit about whats happening in the world dont hinge their entire political existence on one US election result and then say, oh well time to put my fucking head back in the sand now while the left drives civilization into the ground. And btw this is extra time in a thread based around general grievances, if you or these alleged people beimg turned away cant handle grievances poljtical or otherwise you should go find yourself a nice little safe space where you can ban all the people in the world that encourage you to use your brain.

+x+x+x+xPosts like the last 4 FMB  The majority of the whinging I read and hear is people whinging about people on the left whinging. Probably because there is a rise in people who are sick of the radicals that shriek all the time. -PB Seems like people these days form opinions based on snippets of information without a deep understanding of how things come to be. Ask opponents of coal seam gas what the difference between CSG and fracking is. The spastics don't know the difference. I have 2 comments on this: 1. Opinions on things based on misinformation are dangerous and lead to problems. "Feelpinions" is not the exclusive domain of any particular political ideology. 2. If people are in a position to vote for someone based purely on getting annoyed at some people "shrieking" on an issue. Then our country is in pretty good shape. I genuinely don't believe the Trump/Brexit/Hanson phenomenon has this as the core problem but a side effect of other more pressing issues. I also don't think most of the people saying they want "cultural marxists to engage and understand differing opinions" actually want to do so because they themselves dismiss people by calling them a whole bunch of buzzwords. Hypocrisy can be fun. Anywho, I look forward to Captain's next rant that is basically exactly the same thing as the last one. 1. No but the loudest ones of pertinent issues regarding climate change and welfare etc come from particular persuasions. 2. The phenomenon will only grow in line with this white guilt nonsense around the country. The rise of the alt-right is in line with dissociation with political norms where politicians harp on about diversity etc.

+xBasically, 10 "About the only opinion I read in these pages is that the left cant cope with other opinions" 20 "But" 30 GOTO 10 People don't like being told they're wrong regardless of political persuasion. I just enjoy hating on the left because most lefties I know are environmental warriors who get angry over causes they don't understand haha.

Its called human guilt. No one can calim the moral high ground here. The ancients did it to each other... The africans did it to other africans, who in turn assisted the arabs to do the same, who then went on to enslave europeans, and europeans then went on to enslave the arabs back, before going on to enslaving africans and indigenous new-world peoples. But then homosapiens did kill off the neanderthals..... where does it end lol i blame the primordial ooze. the reality is though, slavery was only abolished in saudi and oman in the 1960s and 70s (!!) and in Mauritania (african country) in 2007!!!!!!! No one is exempt. The ugly side of human nature.

not really a gear grinder but a bittersweet moment sitting at LAX waiting for my flight home after 5 months in the U.S, would trade everything in the world to have 1 more week with the family I made at college but equally as excited to see the family back home as well

WGMG: sister-in-law reversed into one of the posts of the verandah of our house. Buckled the metal stirrup thing in the ground, twisting the timber and breaking it away at the top.
I heard it happen ran out going "what the fuck!?" Mother-in-law tells me "fucking shut up ill pay for it" (I've never heard her swear before) I'm so fucking angry, the house is 3 months old, I'm the one who gets abused and then the sister-in-law, true to form won't suffer the consequences, shes 26 and her mummy will just pay for it. Yeah all well and good i know it will get paid for but if i had the money i would pay it and make her pay me back in installments.
Not to mention, i don't know how bad the damage is, whether i need an engineer or what. But im assuming they will need to replace the timber, cut the concrete, replace that and so on...
Did i mention she didn't even apologise to me, she apologised to my wife cause she knew she would just say that's ok.
Ontop of her entirely selfish ways, i told her she couldn't bring her dogs to xmas at ours as our yard isnt ready for animals (she has 7 dogs) so... she brought 3 and left them in the car... it was 35 degrees here. I wanted to call the rspca and/or police... after 20 minutes of her and her sisters arguing she took them home.
Today can fuck right off.

WGMG: Ive given up. Ive decided my fate is to be the black sheep of the family. Every Christmas brings up the same argument from my uncles/ dad about how horrible i am and im a crappy son who will never amount to nothing. Out of about 40-50 job applications only 4 calls backs from jobs i know im more than qualified for. I dont even care what it is anymore i just need change. I cant even get an interview for other retailers its at this point i ask whats the point.
This rant all stemmed from an incident at work where a customer told me to "kill myself" because i ruined her childs Christmas by selling out of an item. Usually i have a thick skin but that hurt immensely. With little to now backup from management i was told to "suck it up".
This is the only place i feel i can open up as if i had to speak these words to anyone in my family id never be able to finish them. As i would get shot down with rhetoric about how im meant to be this/that and compared to other peoples children.
It sounds selfish compared to some of the other things ive read in this thread happening to other people but masking my face behind this screen/post is the only way i can think of expressing myself.
