Not even big games. I've seen occasions of average, regular season games, where they could be playing NBA Finals. Its ridiculous. The problem is they'd almost certainly be getting much bigger audiences if they switched the coverage to another sport, particular a good rater like NBA.

People who miss the game during the day may want to catch it at night because they work. Replays make total sense to me. Playing the same game on two channels does not.

Their interest lies in the market where people can't afford Foxtel, not people like you, who can. They have no interest in finding a different game to what ESPN has to show.

As for the selection of games, sure, by all means show repeats because people are at work, but why replay the same game at fucking 3am when they're asleep?! That's stupid!

I'm not going to NFL v NBA, but the NFL is rating better right now.

Ofcourse NFL is rating better. It gets more games also and that's understandable, but no one is going to watch it on both channels. The ratings are not double that of NBA.

The two channels are in two completely different markets, they don't give a shit what the other does and will run with whatever game they deem to be most appropriate, regardless of whether they're showing the same thing.

Also, NFL and NBA are played at different times.

18sq/m is a very decent sized Bedroom, most are only 16sq/m. The problem is the shape it's long and narrow and really gives no benefit. The draftsmen suggested changes, we suggested changes. But the owner just wants to extend the house out 3m and just add onto everything that is existing. It's gonna be a painful few months working on this place, so much time and money for so little improvement.

At the end of the day, you're getting paid regardless. It's not your house.

What's going on?

A friend posted a status saying "Would you look at me differently if I was gay, or if my twin brother was gay" etc. Then one of the biggest dicks in the whole school (in my eyes anyway) goes "If Kris (brother) is gay I'm going to drop the motherfucker".
Then when me and my gay mate commented (not at him, the status) he trolls "hahahahahahahahaha".
I was sooo close to raging, because even though he hadn't done a whole lot bad, you just know what is going on in his mind.
But gladly on that status more people are hating on them :P

It's always good when people gang up to bash an idiot like that guy. One of my mates is scared of lesbians which really annoys me because it's just sooo stupid, I can't stand people who are so homophobic for no reason at all.

Both market to those who like NBA, MLB & NFL. Both play numerous games of these sports each week during their regular season. Sorry, but that IS competition and they definitely do give a shit what the other does. Yes, one is marketed to a free audience, and one is marketed to those that can afford it, but that's it. So everyone with ESPN, does have ONE, and so there's the major choice for these people when it comes to American sports. As far as markets go, its one of the closest around.

The reason I think they do it, is because they have set days for their sports (at least NBA, ESPN only show their games on Thursdays and Saturdays) and are stuck iin that way of doing things. Nothing to do with not caring what the other channel has.
