Reminds me of this time at a mates place. We're sitting in his bean-bags drinking a couple of beers when I think 'I should probably make a move and head home soon'. So I look up at the clock, and notice a few cracks sticking out from behind the clock. I turn back to the tv...and then look back at the clock, the 'cracks' have moved.

I think "Holy shit that's a MASSIVE spider"...so I go "mate, don't move. Just watch this." And get up, slowly move towards the clock and *SMASH* press it as hard as I can (without breaking it) against the wall. 'That's got to have killed it' I think, and let go. And as I do the clock starts to move ALONG THE WALL as the spider attempts to run away. The clock falls to the floor and smashes, taking a spider roughly one and a half TIMES the size of the one in the demotivational above with it. My mate's brother walks into the room and sees the spider looking startled on the floor, screams like someone who's gone into the hospital for a nose job and come out a post-op transexual...and his dog comes shootig into the room and gobbles the thing up like nothing's happened.

What. The. Fuck. *shiver*

I really haven't had many experiences with massive spiders, I think the one I remember best is when me an my family when down to our family friends holiday house to stay the weekend with them. I was on a bunk bed, at the top, with a light directly above myself. When I woke up, I noticed some legs behind at the crack between the light and ceiling. I froze as I was right underneath, then a massive huntsman crawls out. I freeze with fright, then I start to move, and the spider gets frightened and moves back under the light. It played this game of hide and seek for a while, and I actually stayed in bed, relaxed with how the spider was behaving. Then it dropped on my bed...

Apparently, one of my teachers had an incident with a spider on Nepean Highway one time, where she got such a fright that she stopped the car, and got some helpful passer byes to help search through her car for the spider.

My sister has a fucking panic attack at any spider bigger than your average huntsman. Most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

I remember driving in a car with a friend, when this spider crawls out and across the windscreen....she starts to get a little upset but I tell her to calm down, it's on the outside. "Just turn on the whipers, that'll deal with it" I said. So she turns on the whipers...*swish*...and they go straight past the spider. So all I've done is clarify that the spider is on the INSIDE. She screams and slams on the breaks, the spider goes shooting off the windscreen and (fortunately) is thrown through the gap in the front seats. She pulls over to the side of the road and spends the next hour searching through the car for it.

WGMGEMAGMOMTAL: When he finally realises she's married, he turns his attention to a chick that I used to be sleeping with. Seriously. AWKWARD.

WGMG: (This is a long one) Turned on my computer this morning and it said some weird message but needing to put in my Vista disc so that it could repair or something. However, I had absolutely no idea where it was so I just decided to install XP instead. After spending a fair while figuring out how to actually get it to install (because I had a newer version of windows installed) I couldn't find the product key, so I had to search the interwebs on my phone for a working product key. So after I did all that and it installed I noticed that my sound and internet wasn't working (the problem started this morning and I reached this point at about 7 at night, I did go and do other things throughout the day though). I spent about half an hour trying to solve the problem myself but to no avail.

I rung my friend who is good with computers and told him the problem, he said he'd be able to come around in about 2 or 3 hours. So I rung my other friend and he just said I need to find the driver cd's that came with my computer. During this process I found my Vista cd, which pissed me off cos I had never ever seen it before, that's why I didn't bother looking too hard in the first place. So I started installing Vista but once again I didn't have a product key for some reason, so I had to once again search the internet for a working product key on my phone. Eventually found one and here I am. just under 12 hours later with a completely formatted computer for absolutely no reason except for the fact my computer decided to randomly have a cry about something.

My mac has been pretty good ever since I got it. ^

pretty sure I have arachnophobia. If I knew a big spider was lost in my car id crack the shits and walk home.

This is the second time in a year I've had to rip all my cd's back into iTunes. First time I changed my anti-virus software and some shit happened and wiped it.

I'd be fucking spewing if I had to rip all 200 of my CD's back into itunes. I reckon I'd probably lose about 60GB of music. I need to invest in a couple of BIG HDD's so I can back things up, just in case.

I just bought a 1TB HDD for $65.95.
