I hated the teacher's who were like that.
When I was in year 11 I went to tried out for the touch football, basketball and hockey teams only to be told only year 12's afterwards were being picked because this was their final year and our chance would come the next year.
In year 12 there was new teachers in charge of these teams and we were told after try outs that only year 11's would be picked because we would apparently miss valuable class time in our HSC year.

This was like me as well.

+1. First year at uni a mate (who had played club A's in Wellington with S14 + NPC players) wasn't allowed to play for the top Varsity rugby side 'because he was in halls'. A's come last, mate carves in the B's. A's ask him to play next season, mate tells them to get fucked :d

That's hardly a promotion for it. Bachelor of Arts doesn't mean anything unless you get a double-degree.

bachelor of arts is for people who want to learn about an interest. its not really a professional degree that'll lead into a job unless you do honours, masters, PhD or do finish the major as one of the top in your class.
