WGMG: Players who turn their player and open up the whole field for an attack only to turn straight back into the player they had just left for dead. WGMG: Lazy forwards. WGMG: When the backs and goalkeeper don't talk and all 5 baulk when through ball that should be straight forward in regaining possesion for us becomes dangerous

WGMG: Cramp. Even after rigorously stretching after the match. WGMG: Got kicked just above the shinpad today, and now there is a lump on my left leg.

I had a mate who used to do that, but only because he was so ridiculously above our level he always just did it to beat the guy again and humiliate him

WGMG: The sports bar & theatre at Star City Casino. They're renovating it, and taking out the theatre section - and replacing it with Poker Machines. I mean come the fuck on, as if there isn't enough pokies for the fucking Asians as there is. The Sports Bar & Theatre worked. It was the only reason I bothered to go to Star City, as I don't gamble. Fuck you Star City.

They don't make money off you going there to watch tv. They do make money of poker machines. Nuff said. I believe they're just relocating it, not removing it completely anyway.

I disagree. Quite a few people go in there for major sporting events, and they'd make quite a fair bit off the bar in general, not to mention then people going having a bit of a gamble before/afterwards.

This. Easily the worst I've seen anywhere at any level. I thought about it, and the only decision I've seen that was worse was in 09 in Brazil, the ball boy put the ball in the net and the referee awarded a goal. And now what should have been a blatant red card and the ref shows a yellow. This is the most clueless ref I've seen in a very long time. What a joke!

TBF it wasn't a blatant red card, only ever a yellow.

It was way too late to be just a yellow.
De Vana looks furious. And all the EQG players look like men
3-1 now.

That foul is only ever given as a yellow card and anything else is a wrong decision.

It was clearly violent conduct.

 It was hardly violent conduct, just one of those fouls that are made to stop an attack, a 'tactical foul' if you wanna call it that. Always a yellow card.
No studs showing, no major contact, just enough to stop her, and because of De Vanna's pace she went flying. There was no malicious intent.

You clearly just stated that the intent was always to foul. There was no attempt to play the ball and she was so late she could have timed her tackle better with a calendar.

Yeah the intent was to stop her and to foul her, that doesn't make it a red card. It was a reckless challenge, therefore a yellow card.

afromanGT wrote:It's a textbook cynical foul. Yeah, one that's always punished with a yellow card. You always see a player about to break away and is fouled by a defender, who is then given a yellow card.

That tackle could easily have ended in a broken leg. It's not that it was a foul, but about the poor timing of the tackle as well.

That tackle could have ended in a broken leg if she'd gone in and hit her with about 10 times more force. In the end she didn't get a huge amount of contact, just enough to sent De Vanna tumbling.
