WGMG: Uni assignments that give you either a too long or too short word count. Earlier in the week I somehow polished off an assignment worth 2,000 words that only needed to be 1,000. Currently in a Contemporary Criminology assignment where I have to write an evaluation on the United Nations Convention Against Torture, and it's only 1,000 words, when I have enough information for a perfect 2,000 word essay. Shit's fucked.

He has asperges syndrome, so he is not quite right in the end. I blame the people who encouraged him to do it in the first place and manipulated him like they always do. He only invited his friend list but now it's got way out of hand because they've ivied tons more people.

And the sad thing is, he will get the blame and when the cops turn up he is the one who will get most of the shit, whereas the people who manipulated him will get off scot-free.

Why get worked up every time someone who you don't hang around and clearly aren't friends with does something douchebaggy? We live in a whole country of douchebags FFS.

Why don't you do him a favour then, and drop a line to the Police so they can send a few squad cars around to his flat BEFORE the party to warn the kid, and shoo off an uninvite people.

At the very least, warn the cops about the fact there's going to be 1,000 young people descending on the apartment. Explain to them what's happend, they're more then likely going to do it in a favourable manner because the kid has Aspergers. They'll probably ring the parents too, and he'll get in a shitload less trouble then what he's bound to get in from his parents and the law then if the Cops aren't aware.

If they're doing their job correctly, the Cops won't give him or the family any trouble, they'll just tell the parents not to live a kid with aspergers alone for a weekend.

Calling the cops and giving them a heads up is the right thing to do. But odds are, it'll be night shift officers who just want to sit and watch tv all shift, so they won't do their job properly.

Gotta wonder what the parents were thinking, too.
