You try doing bench when you got some idiots standing around you flexing their muscles and making these stupid noises, "look at my aesthetics bro", "we going to rip it up at sterio", "i hate it when shitcunts come to the gym". Also hate it when they make you feel small and as if you dont belong in the gym. then they spend half their time at the gym posing in the mirror and taking photos of each other and being rude to everyone else. I dont pay $50 a month for that, rather just gym from home with my mates and go at my own pace. That's fair enough, I get easily intimidated by all the pretty, skinny, perfect little girls who are at the gym.

If anything that'd motivate me more :/ But I see where you're coming from, there are a lot of wankers like that around. Not much you can do about it. I prefer to go in the mornings because there's way less Zyzz-wannabe aesthetics brosephs. It's funny, because the way people like that train will get you looking "good", but it'll be so impractical for any kind of useful physical work. They're basically balloon men

I dont want to look big and bulky, i just want to be fit and healthy. I dont care if i dont have big bulging muscles and the fully aesthetics appeal. At first i was like, eff it ignore them. After a while it got too much and i just couldnt be bothered. They would end up turning the place in to a party central for them, playing music off their phones, making loud noises and stuff. I used to go Gym at about 6am and it was awesome. Just a few regulars, about 5 or 6 of us and it was nice and chilled etc etc, but then i had to switch to evenings because of work and thats when it went downhill.

I just use my old high school's gym. The only people who use it are other members of my running squad and teachers. It's perfect.

Ah dude that sucks :( I know exactly the type you mean though, the few times I've had to go between 4 and 7pm the gym has been packed with them. You know the type of course, perfectly sculpted hair, huge arms and chest, pin legs  They think they're mad tough but a good side kick to the leg and they'd be on the floor :P Have you considered doing a martial art? They're great for confidence, strength, weight-loss and muscle toning. Plus you can defend yourself if one of the chest-crew gets lippy ;)

Never thought of martial arts. Not sure which one i would do if i did do one. Ive been wanting to take up cycling but have had to put pretty much all physical activity on hold whilst i sort out my asthma, going to see an exercise physiologist soon hopefully. Hoping all goes well and i can get back to my usual fit fanatic self.

Great for anger relief and you can't help but lose weight and tone up your muscles. It also just feels good to kick the shit out of something  The most 'practical' martial art is probably Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because it focuses on ground work, which realistically is where most fights end up. I'd love to do both Muay Thai and BJJ but I lack the time and money. Most UFC fighters do both, they're pretty much the apex of technique for standing and ground work, respectively.

Also as well as his legs being miniscule, his traps and shoulders are way too small in proportion to his chest and arms. I'd bet that his 3 gym days are biceps, triceps and chest

Dan Muay Thai and BJJ, sounds hectic, i think if i was to do some sort of martial art i wouldnt want to go to the hectic ones, someone within the range of just to stay fit and healthy.
](*,) ](*,) And then women wonder where all the nice guys are.

I dont visit the Who's Hot thread anymore, and you were basing your judgement on his muscles, not the fact he is a nice guy. You were only drawn to the muscles of the upper body only too.

WGMG: Missed a phone call because I forgot to switch my phone off silent last night. Then I had to go down to the shops to buy credit to listen to the voice message they left me. Desk covered it was Coles ringing me back about a job interview tommorrow. Rang them back but the people in charge of hiring weren't there anymore. Going to have to wait till tommorrow to see if I can still get an interview.

WGMG: George Peppas. Everything that is wrong with Gen Y. And now they're letting the little shit "host" his own music event. For those outside of WA, George Peppas is not a DJ, his only "claim to fame" is hosting a wildly out of control party that resulted in police being assaulted with glass bottles by dozens of 16 year olds, and then bragging to the papers the police couldn't do anything to charge him.
