WGMG: "You must've started liking muse when the resistance came out". A response on Perth Arena's facebook page to my comment that I found some off Muse's song choices odd on Saturday night. The guy also said "Hyper Music and citizen erased (in case you didn't know their names)". Fucking music snobs.

Muse fans are douchebags: http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Muse-Fana page that contains such luminary quotes as " if you only like Muse because they are associated with Twilight, and don't listen to any songs other than those three, then don't bother becoming a Muse fan because you will never truly appreciate the awesomeness of Muse."

WGMG: I watch too much football. I now can't help but pronounce Eastern European names "properly" like SBS taught me except all the people I know with those names prefer them pronounced the "Australian" way.

Half the names SBS pronounce "properly" they mispronounce anyway. There's nothing Les Murray loves more than putting the emphasis on the wrong syllable.

When Les and the team have to over emphasise the name. Just say Porto, not Porrrrrrrrto. Just say the name as it effing is.

WGMG: People's inability to click 'attending' or 'not attending' on Facebook events. Trying to organize my birthday dinner/drinks, and told everyone to get back to me ASAP so i could book a table. I know some people won't have seen it and I don't expect everyone to do it straightaway, but when people i've invited are posting on Facebook, it gets on my nerves a bit.

WGMG: People like Abbott, Netanyahu, Obama, Bush etc etc talking about Mandela and how great a leader he was and how much they learnt from him, when in fact they are part of the biggest criminals in the world. Obama going on about his first political action being fighting apartheid, yet he supports oppression of so many countries among them Palestine.
WGMGEM: People putting Paul Walker and Brian Griffin in the same sentence as Mandela and claiming them to be on the same level in terms of their losses to this world.

Without Mandela, Obama would never have been president.
One of my mates on facebook posted saying "It's almost as if Nelson Mandela died to prove to the world Paul Walker dying isn't a big deal."

WGMG the amount of HD content on FTA TV
Seriously, whats the point of the commercial networks?
Only "SBS HD" is the only channel that offers ANY HD content, and they only have 1 or 2 shows in HD quality on their programming per week
I was watching Masters of Sex last night in HD, and the show's not as exciting as the title suggests (especially being on SBS), and I realise how shortchanged we get for HD content on our FTA tvs
For the most part I just get Standard def from channel the pirate bay, only the odd occasion do I get a copy of a full hd file eg Breaking Bad Premiere and Finale

There's no point in the networks broadcasting in HD when most people don't have HD capable televisions.

They won't be running 24 hour transport on New Year this year either. They're running buses on my line despite not having any maintenance work being done. It's basically because 40% of their drivers are on strike, suspended, suing the company or have quit.

It's not by choice, it's purely because they don't have the drivers to run their regular services. They're going be recruiting furiously over the next month so that they can have enough drivers for Australia Day onwards. New Years is going to be fucked up.Heaps of people are going to be stuck in the city with no way home, cabs will be impossible to find and the city is just going to be a mass of drunk assholes.

How many stitches? A mate's nephew had a steel girder fall on his hand. 6 operations later and he's got some movement back.
