i can honestly say that Croats have contributed to Aussie football a great deal, and acknowledge that they have football programs around Oz which make us Serbs shiver lol. i have no problem with that. however i don't like people talking about ethnic violence when Yugoslavs are in question, coz all i want is peace. as for my profile pic, i have no problem in displaying it, for it is a religious Orthodox symbol representing the holy trinity - the father, the son and the holy ghost. i also have great respect for Bobby Despotovski because of what he's done for Perth, as well as having his shop be the shirt sponsor of my former club.
however, what i don't condone is people who have a problem with footballers going to represent countries other than that of their birth. your heart tells you what it wants, and you can never forget the blood that runs through your veins. heck, if i had the chance to play for both Serbia and Australia, i'd take Serbia without a doubt.
nevertheless, back on topic, it's always good to see another ethnic Yugoslav come up the ranks in Aussie football.
