See, I like them too, but most of their stuff is off the cuff and random (Robin Williams especially). Interesting that you didn't name Ross Noble.
The thing I like about Chappelle's Show is that it's political and commentary but funny. Like his "Keeping It Real" sketch - perfect example.

I don't find Ross Noble to be that funny. Comedians that find themselves to be funny annoy me. A lot. Ross Noble is one such comedian.

Dave Chapelle's 'comedy' isn't "Political commentary", it's open racism. But it's ok for him to say it, because he's black.

See, I tend to agree with you, but it has to be taken contextually. That's similar to saying that Eddie Murphy swears too much or that Robin Williams goes off on tangents; it's okay because it's in context. The thing that most people find funny about Chappelle is that he can take a dig at the black community and political figures while laughing at himself and racial stereotypes. Example: the sketch where different races dance to different music, the KKK sketch, the Black Bush sketch.

Just because it's a comedy sketch show, doesn't mean it's funny.

If Dave Chapelle stood there and talked about the Holocaust you'd probably still laugh, because "it's a comedy sketch show" and...well, to put it bluntly, you're an idiot.
