I'm a lot closer to my childhood than you are, but playing Pokemon Go takes me back to being 5 and playing an old copy of Pokemon Blue on my new Game Boy Advance SP, back when I didn't have a care or worry in the world and every day was awesome. Might pick up one of the new DS's so I can play whatever new Pokemon game is out.

WFMB: Blueberry & White chocolate scones from Bakers Delight. If you've never had one, you're missing out on life. It will be the greatest thing you put in your mouth today.

Fresh baked scones with clotted cream & jam gives the most satisfying food chubby. Washed down with a cup of tea, it's moments like that I'm proud of my British heritage. I heard scones are the most innately masculine of bakedgoods, where shortbreads are just tryhards.

WFMB: Spicy Thai Curry, and a 6-pack of Young Henry's for dinner. Good way to kickoff my weekend. Some Peaky Blinders, and drunk Football Manager later should top the night off wonderfully. Looking forward to waking up tomorrow and finding out I've signed a bunch of non-leaguers with funny names on contracts 20 times their worth.

WFMB: our building supervisor is a top bloke who does a good job. Rock up to a walk through of the house, we are about 4 weeks ahead of schedule due to trades become available sooner, and despite terrible weather, however we are well into lock up and rock up to a walkthrough and they have pulled half the exterior kitchen wall. Turns out the design had issue and some windows were out by about 2 inches so was pretty stoked to see that they were fixing it and not just hoping wed never notice... which going through it. I probably wouldn't have. Should have handover in 4-6 weeks!

Drug Shortage Forces Splendour Attendees To Notice Festivals Are AwfulA supply shortage of recreational drugs at music festival Splendour In The Grass has forced attendees to notice that festivals are actually terrible and a huge waste of time. “It’s awful,” said one festival goer, who wished to be known simply as Schmitty, “once I started coming down from the molly I’d popped in the van on the way here it became quite clear just how garbage these things are. “One moment I’m having the time of my life with my best friends listening to the best music I’ve ever heard, the next I’m knee deep in mud next to a shirtless man with tribal tattoos while some European DJ I’ve never heard of is on stage flipping through Tinder to fill in time until his set’s over.” Others cite the almost impossible to traverse muddy terrain, the indiscriminate cacophony of a bunch of bands playing over the top of each other and the distance you have to walk between stages just to see a short set from a band that was sort of popular on Triple J in 2011. Some attendees are asking for refunds, claiming that the festival experience isn’t worth the steep price of admission if you actually have to experience it with a conscious brain: “I mean if I’m not going to be pinging on a mixed cocktail of whatever I bought from some guy in a tie dye shirt, while some bland electronic music makes me feel like I’m being swallowed by a neon whale who wishes me nothing but love, then I’d much rather not be here,” an anonymous man in a morphsuit told The Backburner. “I could be at home reading a book, I could sleep in a bed, I could use my own toilet. Right now all of those things sound like actual heaven. Instead I get to spend the next few days trying to barter for a goon sack with the 200 glow bracelets I brought with me.” Others at the festival were forced to face other truths once their initial supply ran out, such as Sandra Leichhardt, 27, who came to her senses suddenly aware that she was wearing a Native American headdress: “I was shocked to say the least. It’s 2015, everyone knows these things are offensive now, what sort of idiot actually wears these things to festivals? I guess the answer is me. Me after taking way too much acid.” http://www.sbs.com.au/comedy/article/2015/07/24/drug-shortage-forces-splendour-attendees-notice-festivals-are-awful?cid=trending
