ive edited and done my picture in photoshop, how do i know copy that image and put it into a microsoft word document. i tried ctrl+c and then ctrl+v but it does not come out....

Try saving the picture then importing it?

Make sure you arent just copying a layer.

Either "Flatten the image" / "merge all layers" then cut n paste.

OR

Save the canvas as an image file then import it into Word.

This. That way its also compressed and doesn't make your word doc huge

actually, how do i move one picture to another within photoshop.....ive got two seperate pictures, but i want to put them side by side....

Go CTRL+Alt+I for both images and find the max height and add the widths of both images, and create a new canvas using those dimensions then cut n paste into it. Probably the easiest way.

You could also copy one image into another, go CTRL+Alt+C and expand the canvas megatime, then crop to fit.
