For some reason I have a gift of Unreal Tournament 3 Black on steam...:? It's the game I think...It's 8000mb to download, no way I am downloading that but it's weird seeing as I don't have any friends or even game online. I have 2.5 days left to download it...

I really don't like Steam. I wouldn't use it if I could figure out how to run FM without it.

I thought it might have had something to do with installation but IIRC when I installed it on my laptop I was looking for an option without steam and I didn't see one. Will look more closely for FM10.

What is the name of the song that is in the A-League ad?
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I also need help with my Playstation's internet connection. I tried an 'internet connection test' then it said that a media server error had occurred and that there is no internet connection. But at the same time I am currently on the Internet on my computer. :? Edited by marconi101: 20/9/2009 11:41:42 AM

S_F, I'm pretty sure that Unreal Tournament thing is a weekend trial.
I've been having some weird dreams lately. Today, I was walking around some huge giant thing, almost like a stadium, it was so weird, and I think it was to watch a rocket being launched, and for some reason it was like filled with high school people.
The other day I was in "entourage", and we were in some asian country, doing a drug deal, I got away with all the cash and shit. Fucking freaky.

Anyone that knows stuff about sport injuries etc., can you tell me if I said this whether it is a direct or indirect injury? A specific injury that commonly occurs while playing soccer is tearing the Anterior Cruciate Ligament by a sudden twisting of the knee joint. ACL injuries, including partial or complete tears, can occur when an athlete changes direction rapidly, twists without moving the feet, slows down abruptly, or misses a landing from a jump. This type of movement may cause the ACL to stretch to the point of tearing. Coming to a quick stop, combined with a direction change while running, pivoting, landing from a jump, or overextending the knee joint (called hyperextended knee), also can cause injury to the ACL. I don't quite get indirect and direct injuries lol

Example = Player strains hamstring attempting a bicycle kick or example as above (ACL injury) = indirect injury Edited by anth: 21/9/2009 06:24:11 PM

I don't see why it matters if the injury is direct or indirect... an ACL injury whether due to direct contact of a player to the injured players knee, or whether it is indirect by a twisting motion as he is running, it would not change how to treat the injury. This is why i find this classification weird.
Maybe ask your teacher about that? I really want to know now!

Maybe ask your teacher about that? I really want to know now! I had to chose a sport (soccer obviously) and a common injury that comes with it and basically do a powerpoint on that. A small part says to classify it (as in direct/indirect & hard/soft). I don't know why it matters, it's just to classify them into some sort of category I guess.

ACL isn't that common in football is it? :-k Maybe Hamstring or Calf Strain are more common. Idk.
