Best news ever, we got told which wards we'll be working at on placement, starting September 5. I scored MAPU, [Medical Assessment unit, but you already knew that ;) ], which is looking over signs and symptoms, observations and helping diagnose what's wrong with the patient, where they should be sent, and what we need to do for them. Winning right there. :)

Sounds like a fancy term for triage.

Got an interview for Subway on Tuesday night. I'm both excited, but shit nervous. Fingers crossed I get through into the next interview. It says on the notice that it is a 'group interview.' Anyone care to explain what that means? :d

They'll interview 5/6 of you at once. You'll do group puzzles and shit to show how you work in a team, etc.

Pfft. You'll be fine, you don't even need to speak English to work at subway (or any fast-food retail outlet these days. Mind you, you don't need to speak English in this country to get a job anywhere - You'll have trouble if you do speak English. So I hope you've recited your Manderin for the interview).

Group interviews are easy. Just be very cooperative and ask lots of reasonable questions.

This. Ask questions, be police and cooperative. It's not a big deal. There will be one guy who draws attention to himself for taking over a group interview, don't let that guy be you. But don't say nothing either.

This place has been going quiet early lately. Goes dead by midnight these days.

Only issue is I'm not too sure if they employ my age, 15.

Unfortunately the majority of posters on 442 seem to be School aged. Perhaps that's why?
