IF she was keen, she'd have given you her number not the other way around.

Generally it's the guy who gets my number, and they'll text me fairly soon after so then I have theirs. Did you manage to get her number at all? If so, see if there's something that happens that you could chat to about/ask about, keep it casual. But if not, there's nothing you can do really. Sorry mate.

She had to leave all of a sudden and it was a bit of a rush. But yeh, in hindsight I'm thinking I really should have got her number. I said give me a call sometime as she was leaving, and she said "I don't have your number but," and then I plugged it into her phone. Hanging on with that with little hope.

Mind you I was with her for the good bit of two hours sitting on a couch in a room at the back, if that is any indication of how it went on the night...

However, if that seems a little extreme, other options include:

Buy him shoes for his birthday
Always call them his 'pimping shoes' til he gets the point that they aren't acceptable in a social context
Make fun of 'jiggers and jeans' when he ISN'T wearing them and you see someone who is, so he doesn't think it's a personal attack
Go on a shoe shopping man date
Get him a girl friend
If he has a girl friend, get in her ear about it
If none of the above work, tell him to cut the crap or you'll hook up with his sister

Who's got a general grasp of computers? Whenever I stream sports, I struggle to find a quality stream with no lag or annoying buffering. Is the issue to do with my laptop, which is quite crap, or my internet/wifi?

It can be a bit of both. But sometimes it can be that the stream is just of poor quality. How many places do you stream from?

Its usually every stream I can get my hands on from VipBox or First Row Sports. The only ones I've found that work without delay are LQ streams or a handful of EPL ones. Streaming for A-League has never worked well, but I'd assume thats because no one gaf's about it.

So forum, I have a 3 hour lab session starting in about 20 minutes. However, there are two guys in it that I really don't want to deal with today. Is it okay for me to ditch it and go home?

My ipod just ran out of battery, and my phone has too. Is that a sign that I should leave?

Not if you want to do well in that subject. Lecturers usually don't mind if you don't go to lecturers but they hate it when you don't go to labs and tutorials because that is when you are meant to learn by hands on experience. If they know you aren't there they take note and are more likely to mark you harder later.
