It's a tough one. A lot of people say the situation was mishandled but how do you respond to people who won't respect law enforcement. If you respond to being served a warrant with violence then there isn't really a place in society for you.

How do you remove the label off a bottle of Sailor Jerry? I've tried using hot water inside the bottle, and wetting the label, but all that did was rip it.

Why do you want to remove the label off SJ's? There's heaps of other bottles you could use that don't have a porus label which is a pain in the arse to remove.

Submerge the bottle in a bucket of hot water with a dab of detergent (it shouldn't bubble) for about 20 minutes. That should be enough to melt the glue and the detergent will break up the label so you can just wipe it off with a chux.

Nah, seriously I'd have stayed away from Nichols to begin with. There's someone who's got to represent better return for investment there. Mull it over for a few days and you'll find your answer.

He really does have a strange fascination with the word flog.

Nichols may be a brat but he's been great value. There's not many midfielders in the comp and most of them are ridiculously over priced. I've had him all bar one week and picked him up for 245K and he's done a great job, only the last couple of weeks that he's been poor.

These are the highest scoring midfielders at the moment.



At the moment my other midfielders are Finkler, Trosi and Broich. Long term I'm looking to offload most of my MV and WS players due to the bye coming up in about six weeks time. So I'm really looking at a band-aid solution for the next few weeks.

Yet these guys are either injured, in poor form, third Roar player or have an upcoming bye. Ideally I wanted to bring in Ibini or Ferreira but there just not ready yet. Dam you Nichols.

But my other problem is Polenz is out for at least a week or two and I want to get rid of him with the bye and Popa's rotation policy, I don't think he's that good of an option anymore. My number one sub and fourth choice defender also picked up a minor injury this week, so if I don't dump Polenz I'll only have two defenders who'll play and one who'll pick me up 0.

So dumping Polenz looks like the right decision, Keep Nichols on the bench (he'll lose some value but that's not a major concern) and play my second sub player who'll pick me up a couple of points can start. More of a wait and see approach. I think taking a three point hit and making an extra transfer would be foolish with the sub-par options available.

Thoughts?

I'm actually in not that bad of a position :lol: when you consider most of my competitors have 3 to 4 starting players injured + very poor subs.

Given Bevan and Kleusner were both left handed batsmen and Faulkner's a righty...neither really. It's still a bit early in Faulkner's ODI career to be making comparisons I think.

Decided to make one change and bring in Zullo. It looked like it was working as most of my competitors had taken multiple -3 hits in a low scoring round. Only for Zullo to get subbed of injured and Adelaide to keep a clean-sheet. :(

What are your thoughts on Carrusca as a potential Nichols replacement? He's basically the heartbeat of Adelaide and there in some great form at the moment. Only downside he's very expensive but short-term that won't really be a problem. (Don't be a flog :lol: )
