I can never figure out with Melbourne Victory owning inner Melbourne and these new franchises one out in the south east (team 11) and outer western suburbs (WMG) why doesn’t (TheCityGroup) Melb City build a boutique stadium out in the North of Melbourne?
They already have there training centre out in Bundoora which is out in the north!
Surely there is a parcel of land near something the resembles a hub (shops/eateries) with a train station!

CFG is run like a business. They will never get a return spending $100m on a stadium (no one in Australia will build a 10k-20k stadium for $100m either).
