yeah its the risk a lot of players take and if you've ever played a game of football in your life, you sometimes can't help it esp if a player has left you behind.

The falling to the ground was quality made italian... to go with their 27 names for ham...

a lot of the time in the box, you won't always see them called but sometimes you just got to milk it good and it might eventually turn into some quailty boccocini \:d/ [-x ](*,)

Holy shit, did i just see an a-league ad (twice!) on a free to air channel (even if it is SBS at 10 to 1 in the morning)

Smeltz isn't going to shut up about scoring at a WC when he comes back for the GC.

Nah, smith definitely had his shirt. Silly move. He definitely made the most of it though.

It all goes to shit from here. 1-1.

Sorry to ask mate, but is your account a joke account?

That was a penalty for you eh? Jesus christ. It's sad enough seeing a minnow get such a shitty call, but I'll be happy people like you aren't in charge of FIFA. Every game would have cricket scores if situations like that were called penalties.

Really, wake up.

Have you got any fucking idea what you're on about? Tommy Smith had a fist full of De Rossi's shirt, thus obstructing his movements, he went to run for the ball and went to ground. It's a foul any day of the week. It's not usually called because usually when you see it, it's BEFORE a kick is taken from a set play. When it happens in open play, it's ALWAYS called a foul. The referee made the correct decision. So fucking jog on sunshine.
Quote:
Um, how about the insinuation that every time an Italian goes down it's a dive? Especially seeing the specific event showed on the reply that Chiellini got an elbow in the face.

If you can find where I said 'every italian', that would be great. Or you could stop putting words in my mouth. The event I'm talking about, replays showed that Fallon didn't touch him #-o

Not a penalty. Italians, as usual, endearing themselves to no one with their constant diving. Cheats.

Kiwis unlucky.

umm...

well it can be debated whether the goal for new zealand was offside and it can be debated whethe or not the italian milked that penalty for all its worth. One things for sure, italy had the momentum before the equaliser but Im glad to see NZ holding its own. Hopefully they can continue to hold on til the end.

I'll think you'll find i made the insinuation that all Italians were divers (they are) and afroman pointed out the shirt was pulled.

As much as I wish it wasn't true, Smith was in the wrong, it was seen, and it was penalised.

If NZ can keep it 1-1 till around the 75th minute, maybe Smeltz can take out their keeper after they've used all their subs.

@ cuzzy- Yeah it was the Fury one, first time I've seen it and I have missed maybe 1 night's (when Swiss beat Spain) action of the World Cup.

Definitely hope that it gets some air time when people are actually awake! or at least during the Aussie v Serbia game.

Here's hoping the kiwis park the bus because I can't see them scoring another goal. for their nz sake... but if they are having to chase the game at some stage... they are going to have to attack.

How can it be debated wether the NZ goal was offside. When Reid gets the touch Sneltz is clearly in an offside position. No debate needed.

If that's the A-League one, I know there's a Sydney FC version, something about guys going around looking shady in a linen store, asking if they could get a thousand meters or whatever of material, and it cuts to a video of that skyline tifo they had against Adelaide at the start of last season.
