Not sure if picking attacking midfilders over wingers is the way to go or how Suarez will go. But time will tell.

EDIT: that didn't take long, got rid of the back-up striker and bought in the cheapest keeper I could find, bought Aguero and replaced Suarez...now I just have to hope all three of them play and don't get injured 8-[

I had to register again couldn't remember my proper username, emailed them three times but they haven't sent me any details. Worse part is my first team is leading at the moment on 13 points!

I picked up 10 points overnight. I've only got Sergio Aguero playing tonight, so I'm not expecting too many points. :( Hopefully he can grab a goal or two though :D

I think my team is cursed. Robben, Vela, Buffon all got injured, Gourcuff got dropped, and Demichellis pretty much handed South Korea a goal. I used to have Grella on the bench as a shit kicker and now he's injured. :lol:

Might start putting some Serbians and Ghana players in my team :-k

What happenes when we get to the next round? Will run out of transfers as teams get knocked out, not ot mention you can't have more than three nationalional players on your team?? anyone know?

I think you get unlimited transfers after each round and the restrictions are lifted a bit I think but not sure.

Haven't changed my team at all and I'm ninth - and I had Reid, Hamsik and Howard on the fucking bench!

Successful morning for me. Had van Bronkhorst, Robben and Sneijder all in my first XI. Had Maxi Pereira on the bench too. So heres hoping that Capdevila doesn't play. :lol:

And it comes down to the final matchday. Afroman FC and Last Minute Wonders are level on 279 points. 33 point gap back to third...I can't see Burning Hearts making up that gap.

Damn you Germans not having Lahm and Klose playing. I reckon I would have had you in that last round if not for their absense. Guess it finally resolves who knows their football on this forum. :twisted:

Started ok, dropped off for a bit and then clawed my way back into a respectable position.

No dice. My keeper was Neuer, one of my forwards was Klose and one of my defenders was Lahm. I'd have won by just as much.

I actually made the silly mistake of removing Suarez and bringing in Aguero back before the tournament started. I would have won by even more if I'd done that :lol: Silly me.
