Its as if film students are told on entering Uni that Kubrick is a god & there is something wrong with you if you think otherwise. I actually think story/screen writers should get alot more acclaim. No story, no movie.

 Pretty awesome
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

You didn't like Thor? The ending seemed really rushed but it was about as entertaining as both Ironman movies were IMO By the looks of the poster The Hulk is not a good guy or a bad guy. Which hopefully means Loki is still involved

Watched movies at home for most of the day today with the misses. Saw: - Freddy got fingered (at her request, she hadn't seen it, i warned her it was seriously fucked up) - only watched 5 mins of it, before she turned it off, announced she nearly needed to vomit, and snapped the disc in two. - Children of Men (one of my favourites) she loved it too - EuroTrip. (Classic, everyone loves that, cause SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW!) - The Simpsons movie (she hadn't seen it) Which isn't bad, but not great. Just a longer version of an episode.

That shit's fucked up. I remember buying it when i was 16 at Balmain Video Ezy for $5, saw the R rating, though, meh might be funny. I had heard of Tom Green, but i didn't realize what a bad movie it was untill i saw it. I'm glad she snapped the disc in two - the movie doesn't deserve to be on DVD. It's funny cause the last time she came round and we watched a movie, she wanted to see that, i told her she can go right ahead, so long as i can get drunk before/during the movie. She didn't see what all the fuss was about untill this morning. She's decided my word is the go from now on in when it comes to movies

Plain sober doesn't work. I'm sorry, but the movie should be burnt. All Copies. No wonder it received the worst movie of 2001 award, and in the top 5 IIRC of the worst movies of all time.

I'm pretty sure Freddie Got Fingered was a movie that Ozboy has mentioned in the past. Nuff said. Quote:- Children of Men (one of my favourites) she loved it too I don't have enough praise for this movie.

What I have noticed is that 'extreme' movies are very, very rarely held in high regard, because people can't handle what they see. Which means they are burying their head in the sand of the society in which they live. So it means they like to live in a fantasy & therefore dictate to directors/story writers what they should & shouldn't view. Hence why movie critics do not CRITIQUE at all. Which is gutless.

Apocalypse Now (was a superficial representation of war, lacked coherence & had an utterly stupid ending) Silence Of The Lambs (plenty of other movies with more twists, more graphic & more psychologically provoking. It came across as if it had to be made to get under a certain rating, so as to get more $) The English Patient (Elaine was right Peterman!) Blade Runner (an exceedingly slow movie, with simplistic dialogue and a stupid 'detective' narrative) Forrest Gump (similar to Kubrick movies, in that a director naively thinks that images can make up for a lack of story and/or vague ideas)

Yes, because I qualified that statement with 'AND', thus differentiating Se7en from slasher flicks. I guess we'll just add this as another reason to disregard your opinion - complete illiteracy.

Saw Wild Target tonight. Not bad. Emma Blunt is babe and Rupert Grint was actually quite funny.
