Spiderman although cool in his first outings as a superhero almost died in every brawl he got in to. Batman however only failed the once against Bane. Ina Superhero all in brawl Batman is the one who reigns victorious as he has all tose wonderful toys and is smarter than every other Superhero so uses brains and braun to win. He'd even kick Supermans arse with his Kryptonite that Wayne Enterprise's have been studying. Also Batman is just a man, no special powers, no questions of morality. He's there because he wants to be. True Heart and strength.

Hobbit trailer looks awesome.
I don't really care about Batman. I'll probably see it when it comes out but not hyped up about it.

How the hell are they going to get a villan that can size up to Liam Neeson and Heath Ledger?

From all descriptions I've read, he's brutal, just aims to make as much carnage as possible. Does whatever possible to inflict maximum pain.

Saw Tintin today. Very awesome. Loved it. Animation is top notch and the characters are all like their comic book counterparts.

Rise of the Planet of The Apes - a movie about intelligence for the intellectually challenged
Apologies. I just watched American Beauty the night before, so I forgot to leave my brain at the door.....

I don't get what's going on here. Are you saying both American Beauty and Rise of the planet of the Apes are sudo Intellectual or that they are crap films???
I've only seen American Beauty and love this film so I find it hard to be considered a crap film even with it's main themes slightly over exagerated.

Alan Ball won an oscar for best screenplay for American Beauty. Alan Ball also was the main writer & director for Six Feet Under, which has been acclaimed by some as the greatest ever tv series (not that I watched a single episode). As a result, I am now looking forward to seeing Towelhead.

As for Towelhead I find films about pedophilia to be to mentally straining for me so avoid them. Let me know how it goes.

Going to the movies on Thursday. Either going to see War Horse or Tintin. If I see the former, may need to bring some kleenex in with me. :-"

I do however dislike the animation of the film(based on previews and commercials). I have always preferred hand drawn cartoons and less of the 3-D esk style like in Tin Tin and Polar express. I do draw the line at real life filming of Tin Tin, he's a Comic not an avant garde film!
