If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

It is their home world cup, after all...

+1, Muscat's continual use of "eeerrr" and "uuughh" was doing my head in.

Anyway guys, it's fine...In 12 years you'll get your payback, imagine 90,000 people in the MCG blowing on Didgeridoos...

If we win the world cup in 2022, I think I'll start up a campaign to provide $1 PVC didgeridoos to everyone outside every stadium.

Would be ridiculously funny to hear at all the amtches, and plus, we could claim it as "diversity" when people start whining about the noises ;)

I love them :D They create atmosphere, even if it's an annoying drone-like sound. With them constantly blaring it means it's never quiet, which is the worst thing that can happen in a football match.

I'm not the biggest vuvuzela fan, but that's a fair point.. If I was blind and there were no Vuvuzelas at the France vs Uruguay match, I would've thought I was listening to a training run out.

I'll be interested to hear from my mates over there wheather the constant drone of this god awful instrument actually adds or detracts from the atmosphere. I reckon you cant hear anything else above them. No cheering clapping chanting drumming, just the constant drone. Maybe i'll ghet used to it, but so far i have hated it.

I think I should emigrate to South Africa, open a shop for hearing aid and come back to Germany as a rich man. \:d/
