long time drinker first time poster. Just found out today that my company are going to be making 36 people redundant come the 1/7/2012 so to celebrate my wife has encouraged me to get drunk for the first time in a long time.

Turns out drink is fun! it's been a long time!

Wild Turkey and coke until the Turkey runs dry then I'm onto theschotch Glenfenich Single Malt!

Ain't drinkin' grand!

Just drank a bottle of Car Park Sav Blanc Sem. Not helping my mood.

Schooners of Carlton Draught all night, winning a ton on a pokie...and now race tomorrow. Fuck yeahhhhhhh

Making my debut in this thread. Just got back from a birthday celebration, decided to carry on my drinking at home with some 15 y.o. Dimple scotch whisky. Get amongst it.

How early are the parties you attend? :lol:

It was a sundowner so it went from about 2:30 til 5:30 then most of them had to leave so we wrapped it up :lol:

How do you drink your whisky, neat, a splash of water, with ice or with coke?

Usually with some coke, but I occasionally drink it with a bit of ice :cool:

Yeah with ice is the way to go, although if I am drinking the cheap stuff I add coke.

Well I had some Jacks with coke but I ran out of coke so now I'm polishing off my Dimple with some ice. B e a uuuutiful ;)

Went out for dinner earlier this evening, had a couple of TEDs, then went to the Strike Bowling Bar and had a couple of Super Dry's, but because's the girls I was with were soft, and my mates got tonsillitis - they went home early. Come home, find a 750ml bottle of Boags Draught in the cupboard I brough home from work a few weeks ago. Tucking into iot now, it's shit, but we'll see how we go eh?

How do people drink it with water? My mates dad drinks it with water, so at the club the other day I tried it. Tasted like dusty water. I'd have the same taste if I scooped a glass from the river.

I have no idea either. Coke or ice (or both) for me.

I love that ual's getting stick from probably the biggest teetotaler in ET. :lol:

The only reason i'm up is becuase i woke up from a severe cramp in my calf, 4 hours sleep isn't too bad though for a saturday night ;)

Happens to me all the time :lol: The only real solution is a bloody mary or three.

Worse is walking around the cafes in my area after work at 8am on a Monday trying to convince someone to serve us alcohol.
