Who do you think is 100% going this Summer?
If Arsene has the clean out we all want then I'd want to get rid of
Denilson
Bendtner
Vela
Squill
Park
Cham
Arsh
Almunia

Vela wants to stay in Spain. Bendtner has said he 'hasn't considered' his future but is also quoted as saying he doesn't want to go back to Emirates.

Preach.

On first inspection I say No to Holtby, Yes to Matias(ffs let's just call him that), definitely yes to Vertonghen and especially M'Villa.

In related news Spurs reportedly have tabled the best offer for Vertonghen so far.

City closing in on Eden Hazard with the move being pushed by none other than Patrick Vieira.
If Hazard goes to City will Nasri ever play again? Similar types of players with the former being a much upgraded version.
Surely Nasri would have to start questioning taking Vieira's advice to move to city if he's so quick to find a replacement.

Is it just me or did the transfer window open early this year?

Definitely not, but still very confident we can take 3rd. It's all up to us now, beat Norwich and West Brom like we should be expecting to do, and it's done.

We have to win against Norwich, because that then puts pressure on Newcastle and Sp*rs who then can't afford to drop points because any dropped points by them means we just need a draw against West Brom.

Mind you if we win and Sp*rs and Newcastle lose then we wrap up 3rd this weekend. Newcastle losing away to City is obviously a big chance, just hope Villa can do us a favour although I don't expect them to

While I always love hearing your thoughts SydCro, fuck me your always so overly optimistic compared to me

Newcastle are the premier league form team right now and Spurs are making a very convincing comeback while we've lost 1 and drawn 2 of the last 3 games. Doesn't help that Mikel and Theo are still out.
The next two games as well as the CL final will decide if our season is a successful amazing comeback season or a disaster season(worst in over 15 years?).
We might have to say goodbye to those high profile transfer targets we're after too.

Nothing would mean more to me than AV taking out spurs. Would be killing two stones with one bird by keeping Holman and Herd in the PL at the same time as possibly saving our season.
Next two games are as good as grand finals to me.

I don't think I'm overly optimistic. There were a lot of good signs last week against Stoke, and very confident we can get the results we need.

What it boils down to I guess is that I'd rather be in our position than Sp*rs' or Newcastle's where our fate is in our own hands and we're not relying on other teams slipping up. And like I said, a win on Saturday puts huge pressure on Newcastle and Sp*rs.

Newcastle may be one of the form teams, but they were destroyed less than a week ago against Wigan, and yeah they beat a Chelsea who are firmly focused on the Champions League final but This week will be a big indication of their credentials coming up against a rampant City who need to win to stay on track for the title.

The only reason I am so confident of still finishing 3rd is a) the teams we have left to play and b) we don't have to focus on other teams results and the timing of our last 2 games helps us a lot.

209 games for Arsenal, 12 goals, 2 Premier League titles, 3 FA Cups, Champions League Final goal, part of the Invincibles.

Well done to Big Sol on an excellent career, will always be loved by Arsenal fans for his time with us and will always be welcome back at the club.

RVP's most recent interview with the media did not leave me feeling any more confident about keeping him.

Basically said no matter what happens this summer he will always feel like a Gunner and gave the example of Pires still feeling like a Gunner despite leaving Arsenal :-k

I would assume he's just trying to show uncertainty to try and push his wage offer up.. but if he cared about wages so much why would he delay getting a rise for a whole season?
Would have to be a very big pay rise to compensate the money he would have earnt if he took it early in the season. It doesn't add up to me :(

Don't really pay a huge amount of attention to interviews players give about transfer business at this time of the season, never got a straight answer.

That being said, I can understand what he's saying and don't have any real problem with it. Still pretty confident he'll stay, whether he re-signs or leaves on a free next summer is another question.

Wenger seems to like seeing players run out their contracts if they want to leave, rather than getting transfer money. He was willing to do that with Nasri so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Was he willing to do that with Nasri? Because he didn't!
I think he just says this each time to force their transfer prices up. If a club knows your looking to get rid of someone they will offer less.
Admittedly this situation seems different though.
In the end I think it will come down to CL qualification. I can definitely see him pushing for a move if we miss out.

He didn't do it with Nasri because the board forced him to sell and I'm glad they did. I can't see them doing the same with Robin if Wenger decides to let him run down the last year of his contract.

Like I said earlier, I can't see Robin leaving this summer, it just depends whether he signs a new contract or plays out the last year of his current deal.

So would just like to take this time out to congratulate Pat Rice on his brilliant service to the club, on the eve of what is his sure to be his last game for the club.

He's spent over 2/3 of his life at the club both as a player and on the backroom staff. 44 years and basically his whole career, save for 4 years at Watford.

528 games for Arsenal
13 goals
4 League titles(1 as a player, 3 as assistant manager)
5 FA Cups(2 as a player, 3 as assistant manager)
3 Doubles(Only person, along with Bob Wilson, to be involved in all 3 of Arsenal's doubles)
2 FA Youth Cups as Youth Team coach

Thanks Pat

We probably deserved to lose. Fucking pathetic, I can't remember the last time I was this angry with an Arsenal performance.

We could be in 5th by the time we go to West Brom. Just fucking disgusting.

Unless Villa pull off a miracle tomorrow I can see us once again finishing 4th and then praying that Chelsea don't beat Bayern.

That being said, I can still see us finishing 5th.

Utterly diasappointed. We should have won. How we dd not have 2 awarded i don't know. Not to say Norwich shouldnt have had one either. But seriousely what do we have to do to get a penalty, we got the wolves one but thats the only recent one. I dont know how the ref missed the handball one especially.

So it's a broken leg for Sagna. Same leg as the one at Sp*rs. Seems it happened earlier in the match and played on and it got the better of him when he went to control the ball. Horrible news for him with him missing the Euro's now.

Just goes from bad to worse.
