"Wake me up, Yaya Sanogo, We hope you're better than that cunt from Togo" That is brilliant. To be fair that **** from Togo was pretty fuckin' good in his day. Now he can't hit the side of a barn. Perhaps he's playing the role of the ultimate mole... destroying Spurs from the inside. Speaking of mole - who is Arsenal's mole? That player you suspect on the evidence of their play must've been trying to secretly have us lose. Gervinho is the obvious candidate but for mine Diaby went through a period where he couldn't string two passes together (let alone two games!).

Gervinho is the obvious candidate but for mine Diaby went through a period where he couldn't string two passes together (let alone two games!). I think Diaby is an excellent player who is majorly underrated due to his injuries... but that's another issue. The obvious mole is Gervinho. Reason being, he clearly has the ability to be a great player and give us good performances but he always finds a way to screw everything up at the last possible moment. He does some memorising dribbling and beating players leaving you in awe of his ability but then when he gets into the perfect position to lay it off across goal to the striker, he's like "oops, I kicked it the complete opposite direction, clumsy me". ](*,)

If Koscielny's performance against Napoli is anything to go by he is in for a fucking massive season. Absolute machine.

Yeah some saying Jackson Martinez is the back up option if Suarez falls through. As much as we need a 'mercurial' striker I think some other positions need investing in at the same time rather than just focusing on Suarez ( not that they are just sitting waiting for Suarez). Personally I'd be just as happy if the bolstered midfield and defence with gustavo and ginter as if we signed suarez

The way I see it this is what we need in terms of transfers, in order from most important to least
Striker, Defensive Midfielder, Central Defender, Goalkeeper
For me another striker is, above all else, our most important piece of business this summer and that's why I can completely understand and agree with the heavy focus on a striker. There is no way we can go into the season with only Giroud and Sanogo as our centre forwards, we need another body in there.
The perfect summer would obviously be 1 each of a striker, a DM and a CB, but I can't see that happening.

Quote:Bendtner we are nowhere. At the moment he is completely here. Chamakh might go somewhere, it will be decided in the next 48 hours. [They are] permanent moves. So frustrating. We definitely need at least 2 players, and I would be happy with any 2 out of DM,Wide forward or a ST.

Well apparently Ginter price is agreed (according to the mirror) and he can play CB/dm so I think it's a good buy. We definitely need a st/winger though.

Suarez, Fellaini, Williams, Cesar These have been the top targets in those positions this off season. We get them we're a title contender. We don't then battle for 4th place it is... Would cost less than 70m imo. I don't mean to re-hash this but if we had David Dein they'd be done already!

I'd prefer a backup TBH. Buy Cesc, buy Pogba, buy someone who can play right back as well as centre back (and is start-worthy - what would it cost to take Richards off Citehs hands?) - there's your premiership IMO. Between Giroud, Poldi, Walcott, Ox and being supported by Carzola, Cesc, Wilshere, etc (as well as the defensive steel of a quality D-mid) I can't see goals being hard to find TBH. Anyone have any idea as to where Wenger see's Ginter playing? CB or DM? Wenger doesn't usually tend to like the idea of utility defenders, so I'm sure he has a mind for one or the other.
Hopefully CB. I don't want it impacting on any possible world class DM signings we've been linked to like Fellaini. Also could use some more depth at CB without necessarily needing a new starter.

TBH when I hear "world class DM" I think Vieira. I do NOT think Fellaini. IMO Fellaini is as much of a DM as Song is/was - aka not very. What Arsene needs to do is loan Ramsey out to somewhere with a coach who will transform him into a Vieira-esque DM IMO. And/or buy Pogba. Or what about Flamini? I haven't even watched him since he left the Arsenal. Does he play DM nowadays, and is he worth a look?

Fellaini is not world class, but would be very effective in our system. Would love for us to go over Luis Gustavo. Would be a brilliant pick up imo.
