Oh well, we were never going to get through anyway.
Podolski may have done enough for him to start on the weekend, thought he was great.
But far out Chambo is just absolutely killing it. Should be the first attackers name on the team sheet atm. Always shows up in big games,

The blokes on TalkSport right now are calling for Wenger's head, I have to agree, he is a great manager but their season's are becoming predictable and it seems that near enough is good enough for them.

So.. the last 4 or 5 times we were never going to get through anyway. Don't understand this "near enough is good enough" type talk. As much as I don't want to sound like typical Wenger, 2-4th place in the league really is a trophy in itself. We're ALWAYS in the UCL, and pretty much always make it out of group stage. How many other teams can say similar? We celebrate St Totteringhams Day every single year. This year will be our 19th consecutive season of doing so. TBH I'll be happy if we manage to win the Cup, but I won't feel like the "drought" is over, I won't miraculously think the many years of no trophies will have been made up for. Because I genuinely don't see a drought. We're a team that plays one of the most attractive brands of football in the world. We're youth-focused. We are financially not-in-deep-shit like most other clubs. Wenger is the man. Not many other managers could sign so many players, and keep them in love with the club, with the lack of wages we as a club are prepared to pay (in comparison to the rest of the league).

It seems daft to consider sacking him now
-Still technically in the title race -On track to win a trophy -Qualified from the toughest UCL group, knocked out by best team in Europe. -Actually spent some fkn money (transfers and wages) - Young players starting to mature
Maybe last season, but this year has been a significant improvement and anything along those lines is just plainly retarded.

Arsenal don't have a team that can win Europe, so i feel a lot of their fans prefer to get the big teams to save the embarrassment of being knocked out by a lesser team. I know that's not the case, every fan would want an easier draw but it's the way it comes across to other fans.

All Arsenal fans would jizz if given the dream group & post-group draws that Manure "coincidentally" get each year. We were given the hardest group, plus the hardest team for the Ro16. That's the simple fact of the matter.

You could right the lines of what Arsenal fans will say before the matches even take place. When United get knocked out, it fucking hurts, it seems with Arsenal fans it's oh well, it was never going to happen.
Getting knocked out against the Greeks this year hurts just as much as losing to Real Madrid last year, trust me.

I never said you want to lose, I said you prefer to go out to a bigger team as it's easier to deal with it seems for Arsenal fans. I know frustration is high at the moment for you lot, we will go through it next week but it's always the same reaction every year when Arsenal get knocked out and what I mean is, the reaction is made before the game even starts.

Post about how every man and his dog knew it would take a miracle to beat the best team in Europe and we get this. Will make sure to not be realistic in posts in the future. Only blind optimism and delusion. Just for you <3

Is there a club I can join for people who hate that cheating diving fucker Arjen Robben? There would be a massive clamour to become president if this club exists somewhere. I hope Jedinak cuts him in half early (outside the box for only a yellow) so that we do not concede penalties to this diver in the World cup.

What many think though, it's just easy for Arsenal as it covers over the cracks losing to the best. If you went out to a lesser team, more questions would be asked. And if those questions were asked, you might improve. That is evident this year by spending money on Ozil, you finally spend, now you are competing.

Wenger wrote:“The German specialist told us Mesut’s injury is quite bad. “It’s a hamstring [problem]. It looks quite serious – he’s out for at least a few weeks. There’s a scan tomorrow. Well fuck. Even though he hasn't been in the best of form, is an important body coming into these important fixtures. Allows us to play our best XI on form though.

Chelsea, Liverpool & Citeh will lose every game in the league from hereonin, and we will cruise to 1st place! Arsene Wenger will sign an 8 year contract extension as reward! Spain will win the World Cup & Cesc Fabregas will not only say it was solely down to Arsene that he became the player that he is, but he will go back to Arsenal for free because of his love for the club!

Robben is a serial diver. Maybe him and Eto need to talk diving tactics? Is it Carzola who gave the penalty away though? If so, karma for his awful dive against WBA last season where there was about a foot of daylight between the defenders leg and his own

Namely, our continual UCL appearances each year (how many times have Sp*rs qualified for the UCL in the last decade?) which I still consider a trophy in itself. Qualifying for the UCL means we don't need to fork out 100m each year to form a team we consider to be competitive

I never get the constant Arsenal fan obsession with us. That's not success or at least it shouldn't be for a club with genuine ambition to win things. Until the last probably 5 seasons we've been a mid table team at best. Your success shouldn't be measured against a club yours is bigger than. Your success should be measured by the goals you set for yourselves. Fork out? We bought players with the money RM were stupid enough to pay for Bale. Lets face it, when we had Bale we had a shit team with a superstar. Without Bale we have a decent team that doesn't gel well together with glaring weaknesses across the park and a painful lack of goals. We're no genuine threat to Arsenal and probably won't be any time soon if we have 10 more managers in the next 10 seasons.
