On Vermaelan, fantastic fee, hope he does well but his professionalism has been top notch. Must have been hard to watch from the bench whilst being captain, but he never kicked up a fuss and never went public with his request to leave, handled it like a true professional.

Douglas Costa on loan doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Only scenario where it makes sense is we sign him on loan and go hard for Reus next summer. Would also mean Poldi's time is up imo.

Plastic perhaps, but I think it's more to do with a lack of knowledge. Just because you are a fan of a sport or team doesn't mean you understand how the game works. Prime example, David Luis voted into the team of the WC even after producing one of the worst defending displays you will ever see. There are many more I can't be bothered writing.

A typical fan will see a win and automatically think that their team has played well and beat the other team. And a loss means they played bad and need to improve. While a coach or some one educated knows it isn't as simple as one or the other and a lot of factors have played a part in the result.

Oh they definitely had a weaker team out, but not as if it was some 5th string youth team like the way some people seem to think it was. I mean that side City put out is as good as any team outside the top 5 or 6 in the league imo.

Without Silva starting up their creactivity is halved, just saying for starters, their backline was a skeleton.

I wouldn't even necessarily say it's plastic fans. Seems they're they're often long time fans.... Just negative people who love to tear people down. There's always a few players at any given time who become fashionable on forums to use as scapegoats and to bash, whether they deserve it or not.
Happens in any team in any sport.
