Funnily enough both ours and your last run of consecutive losses came at the exact same time. Since then we've both picked up 40 pts with us getting 13 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses in 17 games while you've had 12 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss

Watched the game again and I have to say that I think it was Ozil's best performance in an Arsenal shirt.

Crazy to think that Giroud is level on league goals with Sanchez and has scored just 2 less goals in all competitions having missed 3 months of the season.

Also pretty crazy to think that probably the two most inform strikers in the league are Giroud and Kane. If someone had said a year ago that this would happen you'd have been told you were off your head.

You rode your luck a bit but all the big teams do that on good runs like this.

I think you're VERY deluded thinking you're a chance for the title but you should feel ok about top four now.

Most of the stuff about the title is a piss take tbf :lol: Most people don't seriously believe anyone but Chelsea is a chance for the title. Think a lot of it comes from a lot of people still considering City a chance of the title, and if they are then we have to be tbf.

If it were to happen obviously we'd need Chelsea to completely collapse, but we'd also need to win all of our games I think, which I don't see happening.

2nd place and retaining the cup would be an amazing season if we could do it.

Dare to dream

You guys started immense, then there was a period were Liverpool got right back in it and we're probably looking better. All of a sudden you get the goal you should have earlier then play 20 minutes of football no team in the world could match. Was immense.

Hats off to Arsenal last night. They are always good to watch but last night even I was urging them forward on the edge of my seat, it was exciting to watch. Best I have seen you play in years.

Players have the confidence knowing the fact le cow will clean up . Our back four is more confident in having him there . He is becoming our viera

It was just so good to have a real dominant display in such a big game. City away was dominant in a way but it's different because we sat back a lot more. This one was so good because we went out on the front foot and unlike a lot of times, we made it count. It felt weird not being worried at all when Henderson put the penalty in, usually when something like that happens everyone panics and we somehow make it interesting.

Also nice to see us have lots of shots and actually convert them and on the other hand to restrict Liverpool to just 2 shots on target, one of which was the penalty.

Our home form in the league over the last 18 months has been pretty crazy. In our last 43 home league games we've lost 2, the 3-1 against Villa last season and the 2-1 against United this season. We've also now won 9 straight at home, our best run since 1999 and our next home game is against Chelsea ;) with an FA Cup semi and away game against Burnley in between.

And too think we still have mikki, ox , jack , debuchy , perputally injured player and theo in the wings
