Had a quick look and do like the look of that fixture list. Start and finish at home, and unless scheduling changes things we have no back to back games against big teams. Also like that we get Chelsea away done early, but not sure I like the look of that City away game in the 2nd last round, although hopefully we'll be too far ahead by then we can play the U18s if we want.

Festive period looks decent. Southampton away on Boxing Day and then 2 home games against Bournemouth and Newcastle.

Jenko has apparently turned down the move to Sunderland. Wants another loan to West Ham.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/9888569/jack-wilshere-a-manchester-city-target-sky-sports-understandsBig test for us, if a massive bid comes in for someone who arguably isn't in our best 11 idk what will happen. He shouldn't ever be sold.

The Ox is an interesting one too. What if a bid comes in for him? You can't say he's in our First XI.

Wilshire aside from being the biggest c*ckhead on the planet is injury prone. If City are willing to pay over the odds simply because he's English take the money and laugh all the way to the bank.

You'd be silly to reject 20mil when he's not really the first player on the team sheet.

England's best performing player in the NT at the age of 23, it's would take 45 million+.
Especially when we're not a club like Liverpool who are in the CL once every 5 years.

Cech nearly done by all reports, what a signing he is if we pull it off.
Will be unfortunate for Ospina, didn't do much wrong but thats football.

To English clubs, quite clearly yes. If Sterling is worth a least 40 million to City, there's no way Jack isn't worth that little bit more, considering contract status's, NT performances, and the difference between the two clubs. It's very silly to think otherwise. Considering Luke Shaw went for 30 million without being a NT regular, let alone one of the best players how can you say Jack isn't worth the figure I quoted? Will be interesting considering how much you managed to justify that transfer fee, and age is abrely a factor considering they're both so young. Edited by jlm8695: 19/6/2015 07:25:18 PM

I don't think English clubs look past the nationality, United aren't looking at him thinking about his performances for England. While Wilshere is young, we know what we will get from him in the future, he could go up a notch but he won't reach that top, top tier. Sterling possibly could, that's why he is given the price tag. Same with Shaw, the potential is the reason for the huge price. Shaw could become one of the best fullbacks in the world over 10 years, Sterling could become one of the best wide men (both still have a long way to go). Now not saying Wilshere won't improve into a world class player (very unlikely in my opinion) but can you really see him being one of the best CM's in the world?

The thing with talking about how much Wilshere is worth depends on the situation. The club want to keep the player and the player doesn't want to leave, so it would take something astronomical to change that.
In the end I think we can all agree that prices for English players are fucking ridiculous and it's no wonder clubs look abroad.

Busby could be correct that Wilshere isn't worth nearly that amount, but when you factor in Cities need for HG players, that Wilshere would fill possibly the weakest area in their squad and the fact we have no need to sell and aren't a club like Southampton or Liverpool, he's only going to go for silly money.

So most reports suggest, if we get Cech, Ospina will be the one sold. As unfortunate as that would be, it makes sense with Szczesny both younger and counting as a home grown player.
We're also apparently set to sign Chelsea's GK coach Christophe Lollichon who worked with Cech for years, with Tony Roberts joining Swansea.

Have you seen the murmurings about Peyton? usually reliable sources have said that Fabianski refused to acknowledge him by the end and apparently had a falling out with him, as has Chesney according to them. Hopefully bringing in Cech's GK coach can see him demoted/ sacked if its all true.

There were a lot of people wondering why Alexis Sanchez wasn't one of the ones up for the FIFA 16 UK cover vote, and this is why  because no matter what it's for, if there is a poll on twitter with an Arsenal option, that option wins by a landslide

Actually it's pretty much any poll on the internet . All the polls on the daily mail and mirror websites are always landslide wins for Arsenal.

It's a reasonable question though and would be a good debate but a poll with those two on it, it was only going to end up that way.
