Couple bright spots, Xhaka is class and cannot wait until he's fully up to speed. The difference Koscielny makes to that backline is ridiculous. Ozil is our Lord and saviour. Theo is still useless. Alexis is completely useless upfront on his own, better off giving Chuba a go if Giroud isn't gonna start 

Unless we get a striker and a defender in the next 2 weeks, especially a striker we are so so fucked.

Holding  did alright.alexis isnt a cf. We tried with  forehead and  failed  alexis  isnt built to be man handled and battered.

I dont think the problem has ever been that Giroud isnt good enough, it's just we never had any alternative. A decent player that plays differently is what we need, like Welbeck. 

Yeah Perez is about complimenting Giroud and the fact he's a different type of striker is the biggest thing.

If we somehow managed to finish the window with Xhaka, Holding, Perez and Mustafi coming in that would be a pretty successful window.

It would be a successful window, but it doesn't change anything. I still can't wait till the season is over.

The Ornacle strikes again

Have to say I'm also pretty happy with our CL group. Out of all the Pot 1 teams we could have drawn PSG or Benfica would have been the preferred option. Do also like that we get the away trip to PSG out of the way early and then have two home games against Basel and Ludogorets. Only downside is 2 of the last 3 games being away, but hopefully we've set ourselves up nicely by that point.
