Looks like unai emery is to be announced  this week as coach. With mikki staying  on with pep. Seems like ivan and the board got scared off mikkis lack of managerial experience 

Pretty clear this is a stop gap appointment, at least to begin with. Manager with great success in the Europa League on a 2 year deal and dropped into a setup and structure he knows well. Think it'll be a case of get us back to the Champions League and we'll see what happens in terms of a contract.

It is an advantage that this is a set up he worked under at Sevilla so wont be any teething problems there with Raul and Sven doing a lot of the recruitment.
