The one person who I feel really sorry for above all other is Arsene. He is the one who takes the full force of all the press and the fans to save the board. It's the board who are putting him in the firing line and he will continue to take it and not speak up because he's to damn loyal.

Anyone who says we need a new keeper after tonight deserves a swift kick in the nuts. Biggest save by an Arsenal keeper in a long long time, and the best penalty save I've seen for a long time.
So proud of the boys, we may not have many players, but every single one of them has heart and will not stop.
Thought Gervinho was excellent, and we have really missed someone with his kind of directness.
Theo was meh, great play with Sagna for his goal though and a great finish.
Defence was good once again, only glaring error was Djourou ball watching and allowing Di Natale a free header.
Ramsey was average, as was Song in the first half but was greatly improved in the 2nd once he had to curb the attacking and defend a bit.
Thought Frimpong was great in the first half and unlucky to be subbed, but it turned out to be a great move with Rosicky nothing short of excellent when he came on.
I don't think anyone can underestimate just how huge a win this is, with Fabregas and Nasri sold. Jack, Koscielny and Gibbs out injured. A guy at RB who this time last year was playing conference football, and a RB at LB to grab a win like this is nothing short of massive, and an unbelievable confidence boost for the weekend.

Just outstanding. Szczęsny's save - holy fucking mother of god that was incredible. So pleased for you lot you're where you belong and that you'll get some 'ins' this week now as a result.

I have to be honest, it would have been funny to see you guys miss out in the Champions League. But Arsenal do deserve another season there. Well done.

my thoughts from the udinese game; Wilkinson is quite a handy RB, Vermaelen was great and comanding, frimpong didn't really notice much, Song had a great game and is definitely a top mid now, Rosicky i have never rated and once again he underwhelmed me, Gervinho does some great lead-up, Walcott should have scored 3 but the one he scored was a great team goal, RVP was solid and in last 20 mins when the pressure was off he was playing some lovely football, Scheznyaaaaa is a fucking gun keeper watch out for him in 2 or 3 years he will be best in the world no doubt there is nothing to fault in his game he does it all saves, penaltys, freekicks the lot he is fantastic. With a decent LB (because i thought whoever played there v udinese isn't really up to Arsenal standard yet), and some sparkle in the middle that ramsey and wilshere can't really be relied upon to provide yet i think we would be a title chance and a much-underated one. That was a difficult game to play, and second half with all the pressure piling on the players handled it fantastically well and even played some lovely football - it was a great game to watch too, well done udinese for that. Don't worry Wenger, unlike the hacks i fully realize your a brilliant coach and its not your fault, but now that we have 30m from Cesc and 24m from nasri and now a further 25m for making champs league, we really do need 2 or top player signings- spend at least 15m or 20m please!

Song was shit in the first half, great in the 2nd Quote: Rosicky i have never rated and once again he underwhelmed me Don't know what makes you think this considering Rosicky was one of the best on the park in the 2nd half. Ran his bollocks off. Quote:With a decent LB (because i thought whoever played there v udinese isn't really up to Arsenal standard yet) You do know it was Sagna at LB?

Yeah we've apparently bid 22m for Yann M'Vila, which I hope is enough for Rennes to accept because he's a fucking outstanding player, and a definite upgrade on Song.
We've also apparently enquired about Kaka on loan, but Madrid only want a permanent deal. We've also apparently been enquiring about Raul Albiol.
I think and hope there will be a lot more movement now that we have Champions League football guaranteed.

Quote:New Manchester City signing Samir Nasri says fans at former club Arsenal are not as "passionate" as those at City. What a dick. I used to like Nasri, and still did even during this whole saga, but that's just douchebaggery. You think the plastic fans at Citeh are going to be passionate? Please.

Football, music, docks, slavery, me, obviously... Ken Dodd, Cilla Black and riots in the 1980s, but not looting.
You must be confused. When you heard 'Gunchester' and 'capital of car crime', you must have translated that into 'Liverpool'.
However, to be fair, you did steal our reputation for some things... it'll just serve us right not to leave things in the car when we go shopping in Manchester.

I dunno, those songs at Newcastle seemed pretty passionate to me  I love how he says it's changed since Highbury. How the fuck would he know, he only came along in 2008. Also interesting that he basically admitted he was tapped up by City.

Didn't I tell you last year he was a wanker? No one listened.... but ha... who's right now  I can't wait for his reception back at the Emirates. I hope he has a terrible game or gets a "hard" tackle or 10 :)
