Oh yeah I don't think he will be dropped, mostly because like you say we can't really afford to, but he should be.

Also realised today the Europa League has actually helped us a little this season with how much we've been able to rotate and play basically 2 different sides in the league and Europa League. Does mean the match against City in 2 weeks feels slightly less daunting because we'll be playing a pretty much complete 2nd string in the Europa League against Red Star midweek.

Can't drop Xhaka as we don't have a replacement. 

Elneny isn't better defensively or going forward. 

Coquelin should never play in a 2 man midfield. 

That's more like it. Can't help but feel Xhaka needs to be dropped, recovered from his mistake well but can only take him giving up goals for so long.

What a surprise, Laca, Ozil and Alexis play together for the first time and produce that. Scored 5, should have scored 7 or 8.

Watford game wasn't as doom & gloom as I thought it would be, knowing the result before I watched it.

Xhaka was good, which I never really think.

Per was outstanding, and the goal was an added bonus to a great game.

Nacho was superb also.

Iwobi & Welbz I thought were unusually poor. They really didn't help. Awesome save from Gomes for Iwobi's shot though.

Mesut made an INSTANT impact, which was great. 

But where I thought Wenger lost us the game was dragging Lacazette off. He was IMO our only creative outlet before Mesut came on, and we looked non-threatening until he had the ball. I would have liked to see him and Mesut given more than 6mins together. 

3atb has to go. It gets the best out of nobody and we're even more defensively suspect than before.

It matches up well against Chelsea and other teams playing 3ATB, that's it.

It's a shame that we fell out with Roma over a potential Manolas transfer, Jack would have excelled there last season on loan rather than Bournemouth.
