Suarez falls over far too easily. I think one day hes going to actually get fouled and then not get the penalty or free kick.

Seen a really good quote that sums up Allen's performance last night for me. He had an "Opta game"

I wouldn't say fuck all, but yeah generated a lot of stats and didn't do much else. It's all well and good having 100% pass completion, but that doesn't help when you've got Diaby strolling through the midfield as if no one was there. I mean from what I've seen of Pool apart from his great pass completion rate I haven't seen anything else that makes him worth 15m.

Allen is boss. Fuck the haters. :P
He had no help from Stevie or Sahin. His pressure off the ball, forcing turnovers and tackling is all very good. He's bang on to be our player of the season, IMO.

imno's blind optimism makes me sick. With so many fans so deep in denial it's no wonder the club think they're doing the right thing.
Loaning out Carroll for "financial" reasons? Well if money was that big an issue you shouldn't have given him such a fucking stupid deal in the first place! Only Liverpool would sign a player for 35m on a 16m deal and then complain 18 months later that they couldn't afford it.
Great, we signed a bunch of players over the summer. Pity we didn't address OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM FOR THE LAST DECADE. I mean, even when we had Torres we were complaining that we didn't have enough depth up front...we haven't had depth up front since Fowler left...that's way too fucking long.
Not to mention the weekend...with Suarez not performing and Borini looking like he'd be out of his depth in a puddle of drool it's pretty fucking hard to chase games with no alternative attackers.
And imno, if you think that the club is headed in the right direction then take a look at the despondent attitude and lack of form on the part of Gerrard.

The terms have been Agreed: If Joe Allen wins Liverpool's POTY vote, Imno owns my Signature for 10 Weeks If Joe Allen finishes in the Top 3 of Liverpool's POTY, I own Imno's Signature for 5 Weeks If Joe Allen finishes outside of the Top 3 of Liverpool's POTY, I own Imno's Signature for 10 weeks.

Listening to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast and they made a very good point. It's going to be interesting to see whether Rodgers can implement his style and philosophy successfully from scratch. So far the only place he's been successful is at Swansea where the building blocks were already in place and he didn't have to start from scratch.

Isn't that typical nowadays over there #-o Yep great for the team imno but explains why he's a bit messy when at the front, Rushy needs to pull him aside - another year he'll learn to shoot sooner instead of taking on more than is required

Everyone should check out the Interview BR did with Redmen TV.... goes for about 40mins. Brilliant stuff, some of the things he says are just brilliant.
He says how Lucas is going to be going and scouting matches for us with his analyst, as his tactical understanding is exceptional. Brilliant :D
It's up on YT.

Congrats to Sterling. I know it's just for exp and he almost definitely wont play but it's good to see anyway. Hopefully he can keep his feet on the ground, crazy to think he's still only 17.

Wouldn't be surprised if he plays, so he's tied to england (rather than Jamaica) forever.
