Well Sunderland rejected a bid of apparently 13m so you can probably forget about 10-12m. Reports say that Sunderland will only be willing to sell for something like 20m, which is just ridiculous, but I guess they don't wanna lose him so I can understand it.

I know it's circumstantial at best, but Valencia just released a whole bunch of advertising for their new kit sponsor or whatever, and Mata is in none of it.
Soldado, Joaquin, Jonas, Guaita, Jordi Alba and even Albelda are all featured. The glaring omission is Mata.

Mmmm Carroll and Jones up front - Suarez playing behind them yes please. I admire Jones's talent but he looks lazy at times or maybe thats his style.

Blackburn will be keen on keeping Jones because it would a) be better for them, and b) would probably be better for Jones as well to be getting regular game time week in week out instead of sitting on the bench at somewhere like Liverpool or Arsenal.

That's my point, at his age it'd be better for him to be somewhere where he's going to be playing week in week out.

Comolli is working his socks off. He has been told by Mata that he likes LFC project and it interests him highly. We are getting close.
I posted the other night that LFC were working over night to arrange 2 deals. These are for Stuart Downing and Henderson.
We've also been linked to Connor Wickham, apparently we've lodged an 8mil bid. Again, keeping up the model of young, British talent.

Ha, doesn't mean much. We definitely need a LB and if Everton refuse to sell us Baines, then it comes down to Izzy and Enrique. Unless we go out and find one from the continent.

Actually paid 6million for Johnson, as we were due 11 from the Crouch sale. Which we wouldn't have seen as they entered admin soon after and all debts were wiped. So yeah, 8mil for Izzy or Enrique is cool.

Honestly I don't think he will leave if the club brings in 2 of the 3 more players we are talking about. We are building a squad capable of fighting for Europe atm and only need a couple of quality strikers to be up there with Pool/Everton challenging for Europa.
Nail Guti to leave next season though.

Pretty cheap I'd imagine, good quality back up for Pepe which we need. Can't be disappointed with that.
WIckham, Downing, Henderson and Jones - I'd wager at least two of those will come in, and maybe 3 or all 4.
