Also, take a look at Baby Darling Doll Face Honey - Band of Skulls. Also, check out Electric Mary if you haven't already.
It's a very old school, heavy rock sound. Very cool.

So I've been expanding my Punk and hardcore collection of late and I've been getting in to some old school sXe. Is anyone on here Edge or able to help me expand my knowledge of the scene as well as some good modern groups.
Naturally I'm down with Minor Threat but any other groups would be good.

I'm not Straight Edge, but check out Have Heart. Fantastic Hardcore band, who unfortunately broke up last year. They're a fairly proud Straight Edge band.

Quote:Presented by Collateral Manage and Afends.
New Jersey quintet SENSES FAIL are set to tour Australia this August 2010, fresh out of the studio with producer Brian McTernan (Thrice, Circa Survive). The band’s long-awaited return will happen nearly 7 years after their first visit when they performed on the Taste of Chaos tour.
Senses Fail will be performing songs from their entire catalog, including their most recent Vagrant Records release ‘Life is Not a Waiting Room’, which came out in October of 2008.
7 Australian dates, 5 eager members, and a brand new live DVD scheduled to hit stores later in the year (details to come); this tour will (ably?) lively demonstrate all of the passion and fury the post-hardcore band is renown for serving.

Thank you very much Funky Ride The Lightning - Metallica Trapped Under Ice - Metallica

Kasabian gig should be a good one.
Checking out a band called Band of Skulls, very early Led Zeppelin kind of sound, a little more funk oriented though and a really cool sound.

I just realised that TISM foretold the death of Michael Jackson in their song "Ol Man River".
I drank the slab that Bon Scott drunk; I injected some of Hendrix's junk; I booked a seat on Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane; Mama Cass's sandwich? Ate the same.
Now I'm bored, Now I'm bored, Now I'm bored there's no stopping.
Now I'm bored and there's no stopping; I need another celeb to fill a coffin; Where'll I get my next drug action? Odds on it'll be Michael Jackson.
I'm on the drug, I'm on the drug, I'm on the drug that killed River Phoenix.
Quite the awesome.
