I would say that's more progressive compared to the more mathcore elements of their other albums. I don't mind that...but I never really digged their vocals.
That video is terrible quality though. The highs are a fucking mess. I wish people would EQ their videos before they upload to youtube.

Saw Powderfinger last night.
They played "Private Man", my favourite Powderfinger song.
Thanks for the memories gang. Leave it like this, don't do a John Farnham and come back every few years.

I can honestly say I've never got, and never will get the hype around Powderfinger.

S_Fan, or anyone else for that matter, have you heard much of this 'Lights' chick? I only know her from the Silverstein album, and now the BMTH album, but she has an incredible voice. Has anyone heard much of her solo work?

Excellent song, excellent live recording. Misplaced the live album and haven't forgiven myself since.

Been getting into this recently. Good tune. FUCK YES! That won the gong over here for best NZ song of the year. Try 'Punching In A Dream' and 'All of This' by TNAF as well. EDIT: Here they are. Saw the Smashing Pumpkins last night. Or, more appropriately, Billy Corgan and three other people. They were quite good. Probably the worst of the gigs I've seen this year, but not by much. They did a lot of just instrumental songs and Billy Corgan didn't really talk to the audience much. Having said that, their good songs were great, and Today and BWBW were epic. Dissappointed he didn't do Disarm or 1979, two of my favorites. His cover of the Dixie Chicks song was absolute tops as well. Great experience, considering thwey're one of my favorite bands.
