It's not something I'd pay for, but it's solid.

TGI and Architects in the same lineup shall be awesome. Just hoping they get long enough sets.

I'd go just for TGI and Architects but they'll probably only be 40 minute sets.

I'm really just going for TGI. Everything else is just an awesome extra. 40 minutes would be okay. Hoping TGI get an hour though.

The opening 4 bands will get 40 minute sets with a 20 minute turn-around and then Amity will play for 1 hour probs.

Thank fuck I have an uncle back in England who loves me. Signed up for the UK iTunes using his card, bought the new album and it's fucking fantastic. Makes me really depressed that I'll never see them live though.

Saw all three of these bands supporting Basement two weeks ago. Endless Heights and Travels are fucking brilliant. Milestones are really good too, but they weren't that good live.

New Spineshank album drops on the 19th. Pretty stoked to hear how that goes but their preview tracks have been average.

Are there any other albums dropping in the next fortnight that are worth checking out?

Been meaning to sit down and work out all the albums that I need to check out/look forward to from this year. I know the new Periphery is out soon. Will post my list here when I'm done.

Looking forward to new Gaslight Anthem, Yellowcard, Owl City, Gallows, Muse, Green Day. That's pretty much what I can think of off the top of my head.

Big Day Out lineup announced next week. I found a supposedly real list of the bands on line. Looks alright, better than last year.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Placebo, Underworld, The Temper Trap, Vampire Weekend, Refused, Birds Of Tokyo, Hot Chip, Knife Party, Editors, Two Door Cinema Club, Puscifer, Yeasayer, Mac Miller, Something For Kate, Tame Impala, Sleigh Bells, Van She Tech, Angus Stone, Biffy Clyro, TZU, Childish Gambino, Children Collide, Silversun Pickups, British India, Alabama Shakes, The Enemy, Owl Eyes and Parachute Youth.

Bolder bands are the ones I'd want to see. Even then, RHCP, Greenday and Birds of Tokyo would be the two main ones, everything else is just filler.

So that'd be Blink for Soundwave then. BDO lineup looks alright, hope Refused do a sideshow, wouldn't want to fork out a ticket just for them.

As long as Maynard does a sideshow for Puscifer I don't care. But tbh, I can't see Puscifer doing a festival.

No Travis :cry: That really sucks. He's a machine. Won't be the same without him.

However, looks like I'll be at Soundwave next year. Even if it's just Tom and Mark, would love to see them.

And a BDO poster has leaked, confirming all the bands I posted earlier.

Looks like BDO has given up on the metal market leaving it all to Soundwave. Pity, there were some pretty good metal shows at BDO years back.
