Common Courtesy is growing on me. Was a bit unsure after the first few listens, but there's some quality stuff in there. Right Back at it Again, Sometimes You're the Hammer Sometimes You're the Nail, Violence, Best of Me, Im Already Gone and Life @ 11 are great. the rest is growing on me.
Anyone else think there was less metalcore in there on this album? Still some very heavy albums, but it seemed like there was less heavy songs than past albums.

Yeah, it's definitely a bit more melodic than their previous albums. The bass riffs aren't as heavy and the drums have a lot less Toms presence.

Haven't heard the album yet, but wouldn't surprise me if that's the route they've taken. It was clear that's what they were trying to do with the transition of sound from Homesick to WSMFY.

Now just waiting on those sideshows. Has it been confirmed there's gonna be sideshows, coz if Crown the Empire did one, I would have literally zero reasons to go to Warped. As it stands, I'm considering it.

Bands added to the Aus Warped line up. Whilst I love RBF and Millencolin, it's still too emo and sad for me to go. Much happier with the SW14 line up and got tix to that. I'm surprised Bodyjar haven't been added though as they've just released a new album the first in 8 years. Offspring RDGLDGRN Reel Big Fish Millencolin This is all I'd go to see and its not worth $99 +bf

I bought 'Nostradamus' by Judas Priest this afternoon. Holy shit what an album. One would either love it or hate it, at 102 minutes long it isn't light listening. Sort of the feeling you get after sitting through 'Aliens' for the first time.

Just downloaded the sound track for 'Get him to the Greek'.
Hilarious and some quality music on there. All the Infant Sorrow stuff is actually Brand singing, it's quality.

I haven't listened to WSMFY in full for a while. IIRC, for me WSMFY was very solid the whole way through out but lacked a few excellent songs. Whereas IMO, Common Courtesy has kept the solidness whilst offering some brilliant songs like Right Back At It Again and Violence, which I think are better than anything off WSMFY. In any case, that's 4 good albums out of 5.
