Tribute by Tenacious D. Heard it first about 5 years ago. Still remains a favourite after that amount of time.

Going through a bit of a VAST phase at the moment. They've always god a good genre blend. Visual Audio Sensory Theatre is still their best album though.

This. Best fucking song, particularly when combined with the scene from the movie.

Dave Grohl does the best devil in that scene.
And its a great song. Master Exploder in the movie is hilarious as well.

The entire movie is hilarious tbh. It could have flopped bad, but it was actually pretty damn good.

IMO because Ben Stiller was involved. Very good writer.

Agreed, very under rated actor and all round writer/producer and the like.

How can you underrate Stiller as an actor though?? He's one of the best there is.

I thought after their 1st album that they had either disbanded or were just forgotten. It was just Jack Black on MTV from then on but then they came back all of a sudden.
Tribute was the only big sng to come off that album IIRC.

He can be under rated because he is in either comedies or romantic comedies and not dramas or other genres.

He did a couple of more serious movies years back and they flopped because people were expecting him to be funny. They saw the actor rather than the character. Which is disappointing.

Yeah, exactly. He's got quite an impressive range actually, but like Jim Carrey, he seems to have been shoe-horned as a comedic actor, and that's it.

I kinda liked Jim Carey in that thriller movie he did a couple of years back to be honest. But I can see what you're saying.

I watched a bit of that movie they other day.

Are you talking about The Number 23? I've yet to see that. I reckon he was superb in The Truman Show myself.

Been listening to Dance, Dance by Fall out Boy for the last half hour trying to perfect the bass riff in the intro. Think I've finally got it down.

That tracks a little disappointing compared to their more traditional sound.

The bass intro in Dance Dance is just a syncopated 3/4 rhythm in drop c isn't it?

It's a fair way from their best song. It's disappointing, flacid even, in comparison to their old stuff.
