Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D is a pretty damn good offering and a kick in the teeth to all the DJ's that say they can't play NIN at clubs because it can't be remixed or dancey.

Between....
12 inch by Dj inphinity
Starkilla by Dj italian sensation
and..
Young birds by patrick bunton
IMO Hardstyle, techno and trance are the best.
followed closely by rock, only the classics ;)

Geeze...you're only the second person ever to agree with me saying that. I was expecting to cop an arse-raping for that remark tbh. Quote:IMO Hardstyle, techno and trance are the best. Do you not find them repetative?? I gave the new In Flames album a bit of a listen and it's not bad. Although 'The Chosen Pessemist' nearly brought me to tears for how much the vocals were Radiohead influenced. Poop Loser by Mudvayne is another one that's out there and excellent. From their more Industrial/noise influeced era. Tops stuff.

Unlike many Guitar Hero fans, I actually listened to and liked Through the Fire and Flames by Dragon Force before Guitar Hero 3.
Oh yeah, and Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses and Enter the Sandman by Mettalica are awesome songs as well.

So I'm watching Channel V countdown the top 50 BDO performances. Fairly good list, comes to number 1. Metallica. Awesome. Except, the video they showed is from 1992, of them playing GERMANY. With Jason Newsted on bass, not Rob Trujillo. Great stuff from V.

For any MSI fans: Mixing a manic blend of punk, industrial, electro, hip hop and chaos metal, Mindless Self Indulgence have been shocking audiences since 1997 with their sex drenched, multi-genre injection of concentrated energy. Sweeping away fans and critics like a class of Satan High School kids on a field trip and with parents across the globe absolutely hating them, Mindless Self Indulgence have truly “developed a cult following of massive proportions” – Revolver Magazine. With the release of their fifth studio album “If”, Mindless Self Indulgence have stayed loyal to their wild speed-punk/rap/metal roots, '80s influences, sex, and their own inimitable style continuously delivering shocking originality “Absolutely nothing about them has been done before” – Spunout Magazine Fresh from giving Coldplay, Oasis and Blur the proverbial finger on the main stage at Leeds, Mindless Self Indulgence will be hitting Australia with their bombastic live show in April for their first ever headline tour. ___________________________________________________________________________ TICKETS ON SALE 9am, THURSDAY 29 JANUARY WEDNESDAY 8 APRIL MELBOURNE – BILLBOARD THE VENUE – 18+ www.ticketek.com.au 132 849, www.billboardthevenue.com.au & Missing Link THURSDAY 9 APRIL MELBOURNE – BILLBOARD THE VENUE – U’18 www.ticketek.com.au 132 849, www.thebillboardthevenue.com.au & Missing Link SATURDAY 11 APRIL SYDNEY – UNSW ROUNDHOUSE – Lic A/A www.ticketek.com.au 132 849 & Utopia SUNDAY 12 APRIL BRISBANE – THE TIVOLI – All Ages www.ticketek.com.au 132 849, Rockinghorse Records & Kill The Music

Quote:the first real NIN "band" album yeah? I LOVE The Fragile, and ..with Teeth.Trent Straight up. Not really. A good portion of the album is drum machin programmed by Danny Lohner. Jerome Dillon and Bill Reiflin worked on a couple of tracks live though. For mk: Dr Dre worked on the track "Even Deeper" off that album. Take a listen. I might take a listen to MSI...:-k

Saw half of the Big Day Out today. Bullet and Cog were special. Had never heard of Pendulum before but the whole crowd went off.
Listening to Slipknots newie atm.

Yeah am finally back. Totally buggered. Got so burnt today.
Big Day Out wasn't really worth it, I wish I was in Melbourne for Bleeding Through (where you should have been). To me, BDO is just turning into a big beach party with bands. Its hardly about the music anymore.
Bit upset I didn't hang around for Fantomas though tbh.

Yeah, it was my decision actually. I got sick in Thailand and was still feeling dodgy as, so getting mad burnt just took the final straw so I left. Also meant we got home before 3.30am.
I won't be going sidewaves, will have zero money with Uni and everything coming up.
