I would also like to know how things are going? Their president was recently talking about trying to become more involved in partnerships with a West Syd HAL team, so things must be going ok.

Thats you opinion and you can have it. Many are interested though in the secondary tiers, and want to see teams succeed.

An opinion is fine, but I fail to see how that comment helped in this discussion, other than giving more ammunition to throw back at you. Afterall, your comment was equally as trolling as those you are trying to have a go at.

Agree with the progression.
Works in NZ. Without being told, most people wouldn't realise that Auckland City = Central United = Croatians. Most people wouldn't know either that Auckland City's alternate ground is the Croatian Cultural Club in Auckland.
If some of the ethnics pick up their sack and do things properly, it can work.

Sydney Olympic are in the NSWPL for season 2011 and have started to announce players for next season.
A proud club and proud heritage but they really need to move forward and start putting in place a more multicultural approach to coaching staff and players. Australia is afterall a multicultural society nowdays. They can't live in the past forever or their future may not look so bright.
