Probably realized at U13’s I wasn’t going to make it so was just about having fun from then on. Played up until AA a year ago and now into coaching.

Greatest Arsenal game? Overall definitely 26th May 1989. Alan Hansen still has nightmares about Micky Thomas after that, and by far the greatest end to a league season in the last 20 odd years. Game that I watched Probably the 2003/2004 Invincibles season when we won 4-2 at Highbury against Liverpool. Was such a pivotal game in the season. We had just been knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League the week before and were down 2-1 at HT and looked like losing our unbeaten run. Come 2nd half and Henry seals his hattrick in a 4-2 win and the rest is history. The 5-1 thrashing of Inter Milan at the San Siro is up there as well.

Favourite Arsenal memory? Can’t split the 2006 Champions League run to the final. Those 10 clean sheets in a row. The win at the Bernebeau, the last minute penalty save in the semi. Just so many good memories. The other is the last game at Highbury. Just such a perfect end to a brilliant history, couldn’t have asked for a better end.

Worst Arsenal memory? 2006 Champions League Final. To go up after being down to 10 men and just seeing it slip away was just gutting.
