I knew of an irony sandwich before you said it afro.
How else do you expect them to pay the rent for KA's spanish villa without all the advertising?

Quote:I knew of an irony sandwich before you said it afro. Unless you know Kirill, I doubt it. Quote:How else do you expect them to pay the rent for KA's spanish villa without all the advertising? I have no idea...but pages and pages of rebel sports catalogues...If I wanted to see the rebel sport range, I'd read one of their catalogues, not a bloody football magazine...

May 7? Thank you, that's awesome - looking forward to it!!!
Do you know if the Euro 2008 section will be researched by Aussie football journos, English football journos or a combination of both?

Just so we're clear in advance as this thread started off with some confusion between the pricing of the overseas import edition and the local pricing and has now moved on to our Euro 2008 special pack.
The Euro 2008 special issue will be priced at $9.95 and will contain the following
100 page June issue of FourFourTwo 60 page Euro 2008 preview magazine A1 giant wallchart
Cheers
Andy

Andy Jackson wrote:Combination of both Not trying to sound condescending here but i sure hope the Aussie journos do their research. Won't be easy given that they don't exactly have access to the coaches and players so on that score i'm a little sceptical as to the quality of articles and interviews. Will give you my objective opinion after i've read it. And $9.95 for that package is top value.

Hi Hero....given the strength of our editorial team in Europe we'd be stupid to try and do it from here.
All the player/team/research has been done in Europe.
Locally we've done some roundtables with fans and interviewed European based Socceroos as to how they think their team mates and/or the countries in which they play will do.
I'm sure you'll be happy with what we deliver.

I think Australia needs to see more technically and tactically world cllaaarrrrsssshhhhh Dutch,French and Brazilian football writers working in the local football magazine industry. We have relied on English football writers for too long and I'm afraid to say they bring absolutely nothing to the football magazine market we dont already have.English football magazines are technically and tactically poor and if we conmtinue to use them we'll never have a magazine like Voetball International,France Football and LaCancha....
If it was up to me I'd sack all the English football writers working in Australia...pay them out and send them back to where they came from!!!

While i don't think they should have Foster either, I think having some one a little less English biased or more knowledge of other leagues would go a long way. The ideas and opinions become a bit one dimensional IMO.
