Dandenong Thunder will tonight announce it's new coach for the remainder of the 2011 season after Stuart Munro has taken up a role as a full time assistant coach with Hyundai-a League club Perth Glory.

After such a promising start to the season, the instability caused by the FFV sanctions and now a change of coach has resulted in us dropping a few points.

Hoping the new coach can help us regain ground with the top couple VPL teams.

Was Munro going to Perth regardless of all that FFV crap? You guys got screwed over big time and it does sap player/club morale when off field shit affects on field results.

You can't really blame him for going to Perth though.

Keep us informed on who gets the gig.

Yeh more than likely.. He was at Perth towards the tailend of the A-League season, then came back to us - so yeh, was more than likely that something was going to eventuate there.

I think it was '08 when he had the Knights dominating all season but somehow managed to choke and lose the minor premiership and grand final.
I just had a look to see if i could find anything else about him because i didnt know much else about him and found this:
http://melbourne-leader.whereilive.com.au/sport/story/melbourne-knights-coach-considers-move-to-heart/
so he was keen on Milicic's job
