No idea, since we have taking Membership wise of Ticketek, all the casuals i used to know are members now, least 16k maybe 20k my guess.

I honestly believe this could be game of the round in terms of viewing. Really hope it will be 20+ .

Hope Adelaide play really well and it's a high scoring entertaining match. Then their crowd could be anything for round 2 at Adelaide oval.... And it wouldn't harm roars future crowds either.

I have been in this situation a few times with a mate and his nephew, just use the card that your niece owns.. Should be no issue.

BRISBANE coach Mike Mulvey is convinced the Roar remain on track to successfully defend their A-League crown after two urgent player meetings in successive days to address the club’s ordinary pre-season form.

The Roar yesterday launched their A-League season at Perry Park with a promise to fix the wrongs of recent weeks.

In that time they have twice lost to A-League opposition and were particularly disappointing in going down 2-0 to Adelaide United in last Tuesday’s FFA Cup round-of-16 clash at Coopers Stadium.

It led to what Mulvey described as a “brutally honest” meeting with his players and coaching staff on Friday, and another gathering yesterday morning with leadership group members Matt Smith, Thomas Broich, Jade North, Shane Stefanutto, Matt McKay and James Donachie.

“It’s not me dictating, it’s an open and honest environment where we can all speak,” Mulvey said.

“I told everybody that we needed to look in the mirror and the first person that needs to look in the mirror is me, so I’ve done that. I’ve addressed some of my own issues with regards to how we are preparing.

“We haven’t performed at our best in the pre-season … (but) it’s not a worry. It’s only a worry if we let it become a worry.

“We’ve tried some new things. Some have worked, some haven’t worked.

Mulvey has been pleased with the response at training after Tuesday’s loss and is convinced it will lead to a good performance when the Roar start their A-League campaign on Sunday week against Adelaide at Suncorp Stadium.

“We’ve had two fantastic sessions since (Tuesday) and we’ll have 10 fantastic sessions before the season starts,” he said.

“We have to work hard every single day, we have to be totally united. If we’re not totally united, we can’t achieve anything.

“We’ll go out every game to be extremely competitive against any opponent that we play against. We might not always win. We want to and we will try to, but the thing we will do is we will always fight to the death.”

Veteran defender North was adamant that the Roar’s hunger remained after their premiership-championship double last season and hinted that Tuesday’s loss was perhaps a required wake-up call.

“Being the champions, everybody wants to knock you off, but we’ve got to counter that,” North said.

“The boys have been firing the past couple of days at training. It’s good to see we’re getting that spirit back.”

The Roar meet NPL Queensland side Olympic FC on Wednesday night at Goodwin Park in their final trial before the start of the A-League season.

If Taggart is being loaned back to an A-League club, we could do with a back up plan. Solorzano doesn't inspire me and so Kurtishi has it all to himself at the moment. Henrique is logically only a subs proposition at this stage of his career.

Solorzano is on a very small wage. great value signing. We already have Kuritisi, Henrique, Solorzano, Borello and Danning who can play up front, that's the position of least concern at the moment.

The real concern is getting good quality fullbacks.

Yep, we've banged on about it already but throwing Donks and Sarota's names in as 'handy at RB if needed' is not good enough imo, we're the most sucessful club over the last 6 or 7 years and shouldn't be relying on stop-gap measures. Stef is not getting any younger, quicker or better at crossing and Franjic was a WC Socceroo.
There needs to be better succession planning I feel.

HA! I personally think we have the best succession plan in the A-league. What other team has players like Luke Brattan and James Donachie, Brown ect who have been given long contracts to develop and work up into the starting 11 team. You can tell where players will be playing and the club seems to have it all organised. I can't say the same for a lot of other clubs.

I was pissed to see Miller starting instead.

According to Mulvey's press conference Sarota was injured at Training on Saturday.
Lambaridis will be out of action for a while again. .
