Maybe dropped the story as leverage in their negotiations with Logan Council?

+xErik beautiac now playing champions League Vs Olympic Well there you go! Matt Derbyshire played for them (Omonia Nicosia) and has now signed with Macarthur Bulls. Wonder if Erik had anything to do with the connection?

Jay O’Shea. ‘Players Player of the Year’.
Macaulay Gillesphey. ‘Gary Wilkins Medal’ winner.
In true Tik Tok style:

😂 You know you will get "Best of a bad bunch does not equal greatness" though ;) Wise words. Love how Waz chooses an internal club award as evidence of good players lol I think the performances this year, a 4th place finish, the accolades of independent commentators, O’Shea making the HAL team of the year plus these internal plater-votes awards demonstrates that these players were quality ..... unfortunately you won’t see it because you’d made your mind up before preseason even started and refused to reassess that.
The “paulc assessment of player ability” sits alongside the “Donald Trump virus response” in terms of credibility, f’kin worthless 😂😂😂 The team worked well as a unit particularly latter half of the season and I have credit for that. They were effective, but that doesn’t mean it had stars. A “bad bunch” as another supporter mentioned. Lol Your orange tinted assessment is like that of an activist on climate change 😂 Just for the record - I am all for our team this last season and my orange glasses were as orange as anyone's all season long. Just I did recognise that being the best in the team would mean so much less to anyone who did not rate the team for quality in the first place. Off season is the time for posters to take entertaining shots at each other while we wait for something worth writing about :) Supporters are meant to, well SUPPORT right 😂 We’re all going to have different opinions on players, selection, tactics etc but at the end of the day it’s our team and - being Brisbane - gets little love from a NSW/VIC centric media do if we don’t show the team done love who will?
RF got ROD wrong but in the right structure he scored, as he proved when he went back to Jets - that’s the glaring hole in this squad now: a goals scorer.

+x+x+x+xI'm not disappointed by it though, we got a transfer fee, and while Brad is a pretty good player I don't think he really suited the system we were playing last year (I don't think he is a wide player or a second striker which is where he mainly played). If he is getting a good payday then good for him and hopefully it all works out. Very true, but finding a replacement for him is going to be a bit of an ask. Both AON and Inman were quality Aussie players, so trying to find similar quality replacements will be interesting. Hopefully Moon/Roar have a decent network they can lean on to get some quality replacements in to the squad. We still have Mells and Akbari right ? I think so. They've been overlooked by 2-3 coaches now. They seem like decent players. Maybe this will be a chance for them to step up? They looked to have a really good combo when they played together in the FFA Cup, which was one of the best midfield performances of the year in my opinion, so I was a bit surprised not see them feature regularly on at least the bench. I just hope we can get some of the youth players coming through some decent game time next season and actually develop and get transfer fees for some of them.

There is not one single player that would register as a concern to me if he left the club (Young the only exception)

+x+x+xWhy would Moon releasd Danny Kim back to Lions fc, he performed really well. Moon coached him b4, this is how he shows loyalty. With that sort of loyalty, who needs enemIes? No coaches make decisions based on “loyalty”, that’s not how coaching works. Cause you are a coach hey..many coaches have players that they favour, happens in all sports. Yes, coaches do have players they “favour”, clearly this kid isn’t one of them though ...

+x+xFFS ..... look at who the author is.
Wasn’t the last story he wrote about Roar the one where he stated Davies had signed a 2 year contract and, like pavlovs dogs, Roar fans were up in arms ... for 48 hours until they’d announced Moon as the coach.
The author has it in for Roar, always has for some reason. So Fowler's talking shit? Who knows? But relying on an SBS article to convey the truth about Aus football at the moment is a little optimistic.
