Some idea's to create a stronger NSwpL - move to summer - End P & R altogether - Create a 16 team competition by poaching Brisbane Strikers, Canberra FC , Melbourne Knights, South Melbourne - make BWE v < insert Cro club here > open to juniors and women only

Exclude clubs that represent single communities (like they did with the A-League) and replace them with broadly-based community clubs (like they did with the A-League) and see the NSwoL prosper and get stronger. And don't worry where the money will come from. The minute the business sector and Fox tv realise they are dealing with broadly-based community clubs, they'll come running. its pretty good as it is. promotion and relegation makes it interesting. theres a reason why the a league wants to have promotion and relegation one day moving to summer is an interesting one. it may help. i think they have the right amount of teams as is. maybe introduce canberra in division 2 and if they get promoted up then fair enough. i wouldnt introduce any victoria or queensland teams though. after all it is NWSPL. with BWE and SU, i wouldnt mind opening it to juniors and their parents.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing clubs like Marconi and Olympic dead within 10-15 years (I know that sounds awful but hear me out).
We would be far better off having a Parramatta team, a Penrith team, a Wollongong team, a Sutherland team, an Eastern Suburbs team, a Leichardt team, a Bankstown team, a Campbelltown team, possibly Blacktown, Chatswood team, Manly team, Central Coast team. That's 12 easy teams right there that would improve everything. Possibly Bathurst and Hornsby-Castle Hill could be included too. No Marconi and Olympic would be a good move if you ask me, racially based clubs will never advance the sport in this country, much as it will be a sad day to see them fade.

You telling me that the NSL lasted on Australian football lovers, and the ethnic teams brought it down. The APIA's, Marconi's, South Melb's, OH-LYM-PIC's were the beginning of football in Aus as much as we'd hate to mention it. Read Les Murray's Shelias, Wogs and Poofta's and you'll see exactly my, SydCro's and these clubs' points. In relation to your supposed "new NSWPL," you've got to be kidding me. A Campbelltown team? If you had any knowledge of the NSWPL you'd know Macarthur Rams spent a year there in 2008(or 07?) and got pulled down to NSWSL the next year due to a dismal preformance from Seniors and Youth. Penrith Nepean are another example who went bust at the end of the 2009 season. Logistically, yeah it sounds alright, but research, believe it or not by FNSW, has been put in, and teams just don't survive out there. So anyway lets go through your list of supposed teams: Parramatta - Inevitably attract Melita fans back Penrith - Penrith Nepean went bust, can't see a resurecting club Wollongong - 3 new names in 3 years(Wolves, Community Fc, Sth Coast Wolves), another change is just what they need... Sutherland - What's wrong with the current one? Eastern Suburbs - Sydney Uni are the only Eastern team, they hardly attract crowds/Sydney Fc dominate Leichardt - As like Parra, APIA will always be known Bankstown - No money, and inside news says they will be in NSWSL in 2012 Campbelltown - Macarthur Rams? Not the best attmept at being a PL club... Blacktown - Two Blacktown teams will be in NSWPL 2011, with Demons a stronger team, leave as is? Chatswood - Spirit FC compete in NSWSL and have been on the verge of promotion for years Manly - Current club is fine as is Central Coast - With the new alliance with CC youth and Mariners, there are no more CC seniors Bathurst - Costs/time involved. The youth play in NSWSYL and its a burden already at a younger age What sh*ts me the most about comments like this is the breeding of football in NSW belongs in Edensor Park,Bossely Park, Bonyrigg etc. The amount of talent currently there and have been produced is amazing. Plenty of the Socceroos, current or ex, have come through these Ethnic clubs everyone is so keen to get rid of. Remove them, and you remove fine institutes which have paved the way for future football in Australia

Also supporters throwing objects at players is not on either and it does happen.

Let alone find funders for these teams? You do realise how difficult it is currently for some teams to find corporate support? You do realise how difficult it has been to keep these teams alive the past 6 years? Adelaide for over a year, Newcastle for some time, Brisbane for a season, Perth for a season, North Queensland are dead, Auckland are dead, Wellington was in peril. If money is so scarce on the big stage... the popular and mainstream A-League, do you really expect new investors to come forward on a state level, particularly where interest and promotion is near zero? And where their club will have zero chance of being promoted to any national tier anyway?

It's easy to say that, but every group has the hooligans and the 'civilised' crowds, regardless to race. I'm sure if Bonyrigg and Sydney United ever opened their gates again, people would attend to watch football. There'll just be that 'other' type of crowd trying to kill each other...

When BWE and Sydney United are only get 800 people watching their games, then they play each other and there's 5000 people, you have to question the motives of the other 3000-4000 people.

Fuck off you hypocritical piece of shit. listen here boy my heritage is from the same part of the world as you, im giveing you a reasion as to why the state league clubs dont get better crowds. A lot of people tell me they wont go to some grounds because of crowd abuse, and thats my opinion as to why the state league clubs will always struggle for sponsors and growd numbers your responce echoed my point

So a 10k crowd today for the GF between two ethnic teams, and the only 2 teams in the competition that would draw that kind of crowd.
Bur of course let's get rid of the bog bad ethnic teams.

Congratulations to Sydney Olympic for winning todays grand final, 10,000+ is a wonderful crowd, good to see Robbie Slater, Bosnich, Mel Mclaughlin etc there, Mike Cockerill also did a brilliant write up in the sydney morning herald previewing the game.
The equivalent type of match in Melbourne wouldnt even be attended by football personalities let alone our chief football writers, really hits home how far ahead the nswpl is compared to the vpl.
