In a good way...I'm not Afroman:p

See i haven't followed football that long, so i don't really have a scope of how good he was, so his return hasn't really meant much in my eyes, but if he is/was as good as people say, it'd be great to see him start up again. Would almost be worth keeping him in the A-League if we can, god knows half the clubs need to see what a good keeper looks like.

:P Wasn't sure if you were mocking him in a good or bad way.

Yeah i was shocked in a sense when it was announced that he was coming over. Every time he was invited by Fox Sports or SBS for an interview or commentary regarding the socceroos they slipped in the question, "will you come back" and he always said, "we'll see." But it always seemed like he was just brushing off the question as he had always said previously that he was happy in England and understandably so. So it's good that he proved us wrong and that he was serious all along about returning to Aus, if only as a guest player before reigniting his career in the UK or Europe.

Just a joke, nothing more. I just found it funny that MK was so adamant that the rumor was wrong, only for it to happen not that long after. Agree with you though, wish him all the best with CCM.

munky, if you were being sarcastic: mk said that TWO MONTHS AGO!!

I think most of us were thinking something along those lines. I think though he had a change of heart considering he's had family issues and now wants to set things straight, and I think coming here to play for 5 weeks with CCMs is a good step for him professionally and personally.

But yeah, things have changed since May 29. I was thinking exactly what mk said too.

In this interview at 5:30 he says that he is happy in England: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcYMq61y4xY

I remember that game straight away every time some one mentions Bosnich. After watching that match I couldnt help but took it for granted that his future would be very bright but he eventually ruined his own career.

Has anyone ever compared Schwarzer with Bosnich?

I suppose Schwarzer will go into Autralia modern history as a legendary goalkeeper. Maybe it's too early to speculate about that though :)

remember you saw this first on 4-4-2......the rumor is gaining much more credibility now that the Mariners #2 keeper Matthew Trott has not been offered a contract for next season.

Of course they are denying. They do it in case the deal doesnt happen or falls through - because then it won't make the situation look as bad. So don't be too surprised if you hear sometime in the near future Bosnich signing.

I think the belief factor for this rumor should be split. I think there is probably a very high chance that CC want to sign Mark and will make him an offer. However I dont know how high the chance is that he will accept that offer.

It would definitely be great to have him in the league, but hes gotta be prepared for opposing fans to come up with some creative piss-taking at his expense.
